This is one of the best Kumon centers in the area. The owner is a skilled professional teacher and the supporting staff is also excellent, although they are often prior students that go off to college and therefore can vary from year to year.

Not recommend, they are hungry for money.

I enrolled my son in both English and Math and the time the teacher spent with him on BOTH subjects were half an hour per wk. How is 15 min per subject per wk enough to effectively teach a child English and Math? Instead they give my child lots of English and math homework to take home so the parents end up doing the teacher's job at home. And at a price tag of $350.00 per month for an avg of 2 hours of teaching per month, it is absolutely not worth it. I can purchase materials similar to kumon's homework for $20/month at Amazon.

Rude and unprofessional 'service'. Openly embarrassed my child in math class. This is not the place to come for a supportive learning environment.

We love Kumon. We have done both the reading/writing and math programs. Our daughter, a rising 10th grader, is currently enrolled in math. The daily Kumon practice and the ability to work at her own pace has made a big difference in her math skills this year. Her confidence has increased and she recently took a placement exam to advance to a higher math level at Newton North. Thanks to Kumon, she was ahead of her classmates much of this year. The staff at 230 Central are wonderful and supportive and I would highly recommend this Kumon center.
