“I came to Lida to alter my bridal dress last minute (less than a month's notice) and she was absolutely amazing! First, she us an incredibly reasonable price. And she was warm, welcoming, efficient and professional! Above all, she did a fantastic job both with the alterations and cleaning the dress. I highly recommend coming here :)”
“The best dry cleaner in Newton.
My husband has passed away suddenly.
I brought my husbands clothes in after 6 pm and they were ready the next morning, earlier than they had promised. Pleasant, efficient and empathic. A very special place.”

“I’ve been taking my clothes here for over 10 years. They’ve never lost anything, never ruined anything, and all my clothes come back perfect. They also do alterations which come out very professional. Tina, the owner, is very polite and welcoming. I highly recommend Orchid.”
“I am super impressed by the tailoring here. I brought in a wool sweater with about 10 moth holes. I thought it was a goner… but after they worked their magic, you can’t even tell where the holes were. Good as new!”
“It's right across the parking lot and there are always plenty of space. It's the most convenient place in our neighborhood. The owner Nee is very friendly and did a good job. It's a reliable place. I highly recommend this shop.”

“I just went to Clearwater Laundromat in Newton to wash a king-size comforter and a king-size quilt, and I was really pleased with the experience. They recently completed a renovation and now have brand-new washers and dryers, including large-capacity touchscreen washers.
The new floors and completely refreshed space make the laundromat feel exceptionally clean and welcoming. If you’re looking for a local laundromat, I definitely recommend giving Clearwater a try.”
“I have these washer/dryers in the program that I live in. I love how you can use the app to pay for your load of laundry using a card rather than quarters! It also alerts me when the laundry is done so I can get it done promptly. Super convenient!”
“Expensive and the dryers seem to take longer than elsewhere. However it's well maintained and tap to pay at each machine. Good food nearby while you wait.”

“I have been using Holly Cleaners for a long time: first in West Roxbury-Roslindale, more recently in Newton Center. My clothes last a long time due to the quality of their work. I especially like Holly Care for things like cashmere,,
wool cloths, and fancy dresses. Pick up is short and efficient. They are the best.they”
