Newton Centre Playground is a great and large park with lots of area to play. It features two playgrounds suitable for ages 0-10, a baseball field, basketball courts, and tennis courts. There is a big field and large walking area, pleasant for strolling, relaxing, or being active. The park is cleaned and well-maintained, with a large public parking lot and meter parking nearby. Note that there are no public bathrooms or picnic tables. Sometimes the elementary school uses the area, and there can be live music or outdoor concerts in the summer.
If this park had Accessible equipment and bathrooms it would be a great park. Be mindful of turkey packs and dogs off leashes. Sometimes the elementary school takes recess here
