Newton Commonwealth Golf Course is a beautiful, exceptionally groomed, 18-hole public course located just minutes from downtown Boston. Designed by renowned architect Donald Ross, the course offers a short but challenging round of golf featuring quick greens and relatively narrow fairways. Established in 1997, the club is open to the public seven days a week and is available for outings to accommodate company groups, clubs, and family gatherings. Reviewers praise the course's excellent condition, with well-maintained fairways and greens. The greens are described as "pure and played fast," providing a challenging yet enjoyable experience. The course's layout, including the signature "road hole" on the 14th, has been praised as a highlight. While some reviewers note that the course can be difficult, especially on windy days, the staff's responsiveness and customer service have been commended, with one reviewer highlighting the manager's assistance after a tree branch fell on a customer's car. Overall, Newton Commonwealth Golf Course is a well-maintained public course that offers a enjoyable golfing experience for both locals and visitors to the Boston area.
“State of the art driving range” “Mint condition range balls”
3 minute tee times where a struggle but I was able to beat Albie’s course record. Owen was on my ass all day but I was able to sneak in a few outside beers while he wasnt Looking. Maybe he should go back to spirit airlines

Lots of climbing, the front nine greens are pretty challenging. 4 is comically short plays in the 60 to 70 yard range.
