We get vehicles fitness certification here, Good staff and owner, only cash is accepted here, no digital currency accepted. We can call and fix appointment and come, no awaiting hall , very small office but Good please

The brothers who run Newtonville Service Station are incredibly nice guys: knowledgable, honest, easygoing, and a pleasure to do business with. Even the gentleman who pumps the gas is pleasant, efficient, and grows an incredible zinnia garden at the station. I've been there many times over the years for advice and help and they never fail to be impressive.

Great garage. I live in the area so I took my newly purchased (used) car in for inspection and ended up taking it back for its scheduled maintenence. They gave me a fast turnaround, walked me through the bill, and recommended new rear tires in the next six or so months. Just had its next maintenece checkup and they were able to do that and replace a burnt out light in short order and very affordable cost. You can't go wrong with these guys and I plan to make them my regular mechanics as long as I'm in Newton or close enough to it.Services: Tuning

I recently had car trouble where my engine started to stall at the intersection that Newtonville Service Station is located at. I could not be more grateful that my car decided to act up where it did. I pulled in and visited them the next morning to explain. They immediately were willing to help me. Eric was super communicative and helpful. When I got off the phone with them I understood exactly what was going on and what was going to happen which is rare when I have dealt with mechanics in the past. They were efficient with getting my car back to me and so kind. I will definitely use Newtonville service Station for future use and recommend them to anyone!!!

I've been exclusively going to this shop since 2012. Hard working, honest guys who tell you what has to be done today and what can wait. Pricing has all been extremely fair.They're just good people, and I refer everyone here if they're in the area. Also a walkable distance to an enterprise if you need a rental for a bit.

Went to get my inspection, the guy was super nice. He even gave me some WD-40 to get my pesky out-of-state plates off. Inspection was very fast too. Great place to go!

I have had only two things done here but i have called the two brothers to ask a few questions about my car. When I talk with them, I feel like I am talking to the car talk brothers from NPR radio station. They seem very smart and honest. They take their time and are very attentive to my questions. They recommended Accel automative in Waltham for my wife's VW. I have gone to this other repair place for issues with my Toyota and my wife's VW. However, when I am in Newton and I am not sure about issues or repair costs, I call them up. I appreciate their downhome approach and rich knowledge. I really want to give them more business yet I do not have a lot issues. Or, they often refer me to different place to get the item fixed. I highly recommend them for their honest, fair price, and top quality work.
