I needed a new PCP and after looking for weeks and not finding what I was looking for, I came across One Medical. There is a "membership fee" but it was well worth it. I signed up on a Thursday and was able to have an appointment on Tuesday at a time that was actually convenient to me! Super nice office, very nice and helpful front desk. I meet with Dr. Heather Lampert and she was so friendly and knowable and seemed to care about my concerns. Plus the App is great.

Great care received by Sherin and the Phleb there! My blood draw was quick, easy and seamless. Got my results in less than a day with a follow with from Sherin. She took the time to make sure all of my concerns were addressed & made sure I felt comfortable with my options. My appt started right in time and the phleb stayed longer for a few patients.

I was looking for a new primary care physician, and One Medical seemed to fit the bill. So yesterday I reviewed a bunch of reviews and terms & conditions, and signed up - and paid the $200 annual fee. Then had my first physical exam, with labs, ten minutes from home, today! I filled out all of the advance questions and scanned my insurance card on the app, so there was no paperwork at the office. The waiting room was spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. In the visit, Dr. Dhar was wonderful, very friendly, asked good questions about a couple of conditions, and we had a very informative discussion about the pluses and minuses of cancer screening. She ordered my labs, which were done on-site before I left - the lab technician was very helpful and friendly.Afterward, action items showed up in the app under my phone's Android notifications. I'm supposed to let her know in the app about one condition after two weeks, with a simple multiple-choice click box and optional text entry. And a referral showed up with the address and clickable phone number to make the appointment - and suggested due date. They say this is the future of primary care. This was just my first visit, but I think this will likely be my primary care future...

This is not concierge medicine but you do have to pay $199 yearly membership to have access to a lounge and some doctors who will be available in a few weeks' time. When you actually have an issue, you may have to just do the leg work, diagnose yourself and they will prescribe you medication or refer to specialists. If you have commercial PPO insurance, stay away. Just look up in network providers in your area and show up there. I recommend Stewart Medical group in watertown or brighton.
