“We recently had Nickerson & Hills paint a hall and stairway. We hired them because they have a reputation as being one of the best painting companies in the area. My husband and I have painted a lot of rooms, so we tend to be kind of particular and wanted the job done right. The guys at N & H were knowledgeable about how to fix problems with our plaster, what type of paint would work to mask wall imperfections and did great job prepping everything before they began painting. The painters were friendly, always on time and obviously take a lot of pride in their work. The end result was a beautiful hallway that exceeded our expectations - Thanks Keith, David and Manny!”

“Returned to Sherwin Williams in Lexington since my front steps/risers need some attention. Had called already re/the Duration Exterior paint, and found out they only offer it in a gallon, so would have to buy another type of paint to get a quart size. So the gallon is pricey, but SW was offering 30% sale, and since I am a preferred customer, I wanted the extra discount. Greg was amazingly accommodating! First, sort of unusual, but when I arrived at the store, there were no customers. Greg came right out, and was very helpful and friendly. He quickly told me about my options re/the quart vs gallon and Duration paint vs the other one, and was overall willing to go with whatever I decided. He gave the info I needed, without pushing me either way. I went with the gallon of Duration, and Greg gave me the extra discount and was just all around very friendly and helpful. Also he did a great job mixing the paint, as the color was spot on when I got home and used it. I cannot recommend this store, and the staff enough! This is a great SW store!”

“I am a complete novice at painting cars but am restoring an old triumph. When a lower valiance was off, it was the perfect time to test my painting skills. Sherwin Williams can mix up almost any old color. I visited on a Friday afternoon when the place was not busy and spent about an hour talking about what I need and how to use it. (We paused when others came in for assistance) I used a cheap Harbor Freight Gun and SW paint. My technique needs improvement (better filtering for fish eyes) but SQ, the paint and the customer service were great.”
