“We have been customers of this local establishment for nearly two decades. Nearly all of our requests have been to replace batteries in watches. Never has there been a problem, which some reviewers seem to have experienced.One fine mechanical watch, a Breguet, was brought to Mark and Nina after the person who sold it to us "pre-owned" could not repair it after two attempts and nearly $1000 in charges. Mark correctly assessed that such a watch should be shipped to the factory in Switzerland for proper repair. That was handled expertly by them and relatively promptly, considering the backlog at the factory, and the charges, while more than $1000, were quite reasonable. The watch has functioned perfectly since that time. The most demanding request was for Mark and Nina to tackle our nearly 50 year old Atmos clock. Repairing these amazing devices, which are the closest thing to a perpetual motion machine, is not for the faint hearted, but Mark is an expert. Indeed, his repair was faultless the first time and it has stayed so for quite a long period. Again, the charge to repair it was far less than that quoted at the Longines service facility in Texas. Mark often has a number of used Atmos clocks for sale, so it's quite obvious that he has extensive experience with their delicate mechanisms. In summary, I am sorry there are reviews posting negative experiences by others over the years. I felt it only fair to indicate that Nina and Mark, in our opinion, are completely honest and very fair in what they charge for their work. We truly appreciate such fine service!”

“We do all of our jewelry purchases here, as well as jewelry repairs. It is a stand alone shop -- not part of a chain -- so it's all personalized service by people who know their stuff. At this point, I'd rather work with them and get what my wife wants rather than try to find a pre-made piece. Prices are reasonable - you do not pay the premium you would at, say, Tiffany's.”

I have a small collection of watches but have never seen a Grand Seiko in person and was very interested in the brand. Javier was extremely helpful (and patient with me) as I came back to the store twice afterwards to make my final selection. There was one watch that I kept coming back to and in fact, my family members also agreed - it was the SBGM221.Superb buying experience in every way, topped off with celebratory glass of Japanese whisky!I will be adding many more Grand Seikos to my collection and look forward to seeing Javier again very soon!”

“It seemed unlikely to me that this place could be as good as all the reviews say, but it really is. I brought in a clock and a watch that weren't running. Chris was incredibly knowledgeable and honest about what he could do to try to fix the clock, what parts he would need, and how much it was likely to cost. He was also very forthright in saying that if it were his clock, he probably wouldn't bother. He took some links out of my watch for a very reasonable price, and he let me know that it didn't need a new battery; it just needs to be worn in order to self-wind. (I did--and do--feel like a bit of an idiot, but that's obviously on me, not him.) I saw Chris and Christine helping other customers in an equally honest and helpful manner. Tommy, the woman at the counter was friendly and professional and also Leonid the watchmaker, who came from out back made me feel comfortable about the whole procedure. “Joseph Gann Jewelers is the best. We have worked with Matt Gann since 2010 on 4 rings: An heirloom blue sapphire and ruby that were each set into pre-existing settings and (a decade later) a tourmaline and white sapphire that were set into custom mounts. Each of these rings are beautiful and the finished product suits each stone perfectly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Matt Gann: He is the epitome of trust and courtesy; we have never felt rushed through the selection process; and when we brought in less conventional gemstones for setting (a huge tourmaline and a white/blue-gray sapphire) there was a great feeling of collaboration and mutual respect. Without needing to say much, Matt understood our vision as well as what would likely be to each gemstone's advantage. I receive tons of compliments on my tourmaline ring (from 2021) The setting had to be designed and made from scratch to accommodate the stone. The result is stunning. Don't be afraid to go custom! It's worth it! When we picked up our most recent collaboration earlier this month (a white sapphire ring in an art-deco style) I was overwhelmed with joy...it was gorgeous and much more opulent than I expected. I wear all four rings from Joseph Gann on regular 'rotation' and with each one so different from the other, it's hard to believe that they come from the same jeweler. However, there is one thing common to them all: Outstanding Quality. We are so pleased to have Joseph Gann as our jeweler and look forward to working with Matt Gann again in the near future.”

“TLDR; Came back here to have a ring that I bought elsewhere resized (made smaller), and had the same fantastic experience I had 7 years ago. The gentleman at the front who helped me was extremely understanding, professional and knowledgeable, and he was able to quickly and confidently resize me and help me understand some next steps (1 week for their jeweler to resize the ring, which resizing process I wanted and how that might change the finish). He was also very clear about explaining how we would select the right size for me (considering how my hands might change in different temperatures, that it would not slip past the knuckle, etc). Still, I realized as I was a block away after leaving the store that I wanted to take one more look at another size and I really wanted to be 100% sure before I committed. I came back 5 min later and he was completely understanding about my trying some different sizes again and making sure I had all the information to make the right choice, letting me make the decision I felt most comfortable with. After getting to re-try the fit, I ended up feeling confident that the size he had originally selected was the right fit for me. I came back a week later and everything went smoothly when I picked up the resized ring (again, a pleasant experience). It's been a month now, and I've been so happy with the new fit! I'm very grateful that they were able to provide me with such a pleasant experience when dealing with jewelry that has so much sentimental value to me, and I can't recommend them enough.”

“I’m highly satisfied with my experience at Village Watch Center. I interacted with the owner, Avi, and Justin, who is a sales associate. I brought my Lassale in to be serviced and it came out great. While looking at the collection of watches, a Rolex with a blue dial caught my eye. I returned to shop for Valentines Day and purchased a beautiful 14K YG diamond cross necklace for my girlfriend that she loves. I also brought her in to remove some links from a new Longines purchased online. I included pictures of the aforementioned items along with some of the other watch offerings at the store.
