Extremely understaffed and poorly managed. The pharmacy does not follow the posted store hours and the pharmacy spontaneously closes for lunch breaks with no signage at the store or on the website. It is clear that CVS wants to maximize profits at the expense of customers and patients.

I asked for saline solution to use in my contacts and the pharmacist said “it’s prescription only” even though they’ve given it to me in the past. It is literally sodium and water, what’s the need for a prescription?

The pharmacy consistently screws up. They auto-call to tell a script is ready when it is not. Today they issued pills for someone completely unrelated to my family instead of my daughter’s inhaler when she was struggling to breathe. They failed multiple times to fill meds while I was on chemo. I don’t understand how they can be so poorly run. It is unnacceptable.

The store is way, way, way too cold! Without a jacket I would have left without buying anything, but even with a jacket, I only grabbed what I needed and left ASAP. I even decided to go to another Pharmacy nearby (not CVS) to get something I couldn’t instantly find. The person who worked there though was incredibly helpful, but mentioned that they are also very cold.

My wife walked in at 7pm on the dot to pick up a very time sensitive prescription. One year old in tow, after a full day of work, literally jogging to the store and she was turned away at the pharmacy counter with the gate closed in her face because it closes at that exact minute. Her prescription was ready and simply needed to be handed to her. Be a better business. Be better human beings.

Would give 0 for pharmacy if i could. Had surgery and multiple medications were prescribed including antibiotics and pain killers. My doctor accidentally sent it to this pharmacy instead of my usual one. I called the day of them being prescribed and no one from the pharmacy picked up. I called the next day and again, no one picked up. I went to the store in person while still on hold, now having been 45 mins. One person was in front of me and they didn't seem particularly busy with 4 staff behind the counter. I had to demand they be filled immediately as I was in a lot of pain. I was told i needed to come in person if it was urgent!! Terrible, have never had this at other CVS pharmacies. Whoever runs this store should be looked into by CVS based on my experience and other similar reviews about the pharmacy. Run to 978 Boylston Street Newton CVS and avoid this one at all costs

Close to train station. Really kind clerks (Satwinder specifically) and well-organized store.
