We switched from the Walgreens in Foxboro to this one for two reasons: 1) because it is closer to our home, and 2) because the pharmacy staff are helpful and consistent. It is also less crowded so we don't usually have to wait in line at the pharmacy counter. The store is clean, well stocked, and the staff is friendly.

Store is nice and clean and staff is courteous, but the location is severely understaffed, especially the pharmacy. If someone is ahead of you and is having an issue, rarely is there another attendant available. You will wait in line no matter how prolonged the customers issues are ahead of you. The pharmacy takes forever to process things because there is one pharmacist and one assistant for 10's of thousands of prescriptions. And the thing that really kills me is, several times I was waiting for meds and the refills ran out. They don't even call to replenish refills like the much better other chains do. If you have insurance issues or verifications, expect your med status to be on hold for several days, as they don't have the staff to follow through unless you call to hassle them. If you need to call in... Forget about it. I hope you have a headset and a pocket for your cell phone. Waits are on average 15-30 minutes. The hold is longer than most tech supports. Mail order... The biggest hassle I've ever experienced to date. The internal system talk to Alliance (Who they use). but the customer side Walgreens website leaves the patient in limbo until the medication is mailed. You don't know if your prescription got submitted/transferred, is in process etc... And if you sign up for Alliance web access with your Walgreens account, nothing is listed. All you have is Walgreens records. And the website is clunky, no place that lists all they have of yours, etc. It's very poorly designed and not current with anything outside of the store. *Synopsis: Walgreens overall appears to act like a discount store chain, but charges premium prices. It has been nothing but hassle since I transferred my prescriptions, where my previous pharmacy took care of the medication process. I figured I would save a few bucks on home delivery since I am disabled, and it is in my home town, but after nothing but delay, dropped balls. me doing all the legwork to give them money... I am going to transfer all my stuff back to CVS in Millis and pay the $5.99 to get them home mailed. For me, I am paying 30x that a month in my own hourly rate to save 6 bucks. If you don't mind spending hours on the phone resolving things they should handle, then maybe that $6 is worth it for you. For me, about the only money they will be getting is the odd gallon of milk if I run out once or twice a year.

Garbage pharmacy. Drove 45 minutes for my covid appointment for them to say sorry we have no more. First off I HAD an appointment. Secondly thanks for the lack of common courtesy to call me and tell me it's cancelled. Ignorant useless employees.

This is probably the biggest business in downtown Norfolk. The store is very large, and while I was there was very understaffed. There were probably 7-8 people in the store and three employees - including the pharmacist. Even so, there was a slow moving line at checkout, and the third person seemed very occupied with things unrelated to helping anyone. Lots of better places in nearby Franklin - I'll pass on this one.
