“Ferrin Contemporary is a small gallery with beautiful clay and porcelain artist exhibitions. If you enjoy clay and porcelain sculpture you will enjoy Ferrin Contemporary. The space is small but filled with light. The exhibition we visited was for artist Sergei Isupov. His sculptures were unique with amazing illustratively painted glazes. Some were small, 12 to 20 inches in height, but a few were very large single piece constructions that needed a huge kiln to be fired in. I enjoyed Isupov's work more than the clay sculptures in the MoCA. It was well worth the visit.”

“Jane Eckert is an extraordinary talent with an eye for emerging artists, who she expertly cultivates. I’ve become an avid collector of one such artist who, over several years of collaboration with Jane, has risen to an artist of widespread renown and recognition.”

“MCLA Gallery 51 is run by the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and it's mostly staffed by students. It's downtown North Adams, walkable distance from MASS MoCA. The gallery presents work from a wide range of emerging and mid-career contemporary artists. All medium considered, from painting and sculptures, to mixed media, photography and video. It's a fun gallery to stop by to see some emerging cool art, that you can also buy!”
