If I could less than one star, I would. This is the worst CVS I've ever been to. My doctor sent a prescription on Monday, 10/30/23 for a medication that I needed to start taking immediately. I called daily to check on it and was told it would be ready and that I would receive a notification via text. It is now Friday, 11/3/23. I called early in the morning and was told they don't have insurance on file for me which made zero sense because I had a script filled two weeks ago and nothing has changed. I asked if I could give her my insurance information over the phone and she told me she didn't have time to do that and I should just bring it with me when I pick it up. She said she was filling it for me right at that time. 2 hours later I received a text that it was ready. Let me not forget to mention this female pharmacy tech was talking poorly about a customer being late to one of her co workers while on the phone with me and stated that is why she ignored him. Four hours after receiving the text to pick up the script, I arrived to the drive thru and was told that my insurance was cancelled. What?! I went home and called my insurance. She assured me the insurance was active and asked if I was going to the North Andover CVS. I said yes. She chuckled and asked me to hold while she called them. When she got back on the line she said that they were billing it wrong and when she told them what to do, she could see the approved paid claim come through. Told me I was all set to go back and pick it up. The insurance rep also told me the co pay would be $5.95. When I arrived again to 109 Main Street, the male tech said they have one ready. Then he comes back to tell me it WASN'T ready. But wait, he just told me it was and I explained I received a text hours ago that it was ready. He told me to circle back around in 10 minutes. I waited 15 minutes and went back through the drive-thru. The same tech told me he was having issues with their system. Then he states the co-pay would be $36.95. I just confirmed with CareMark that my co-pay would be $5.95. Then the female voice I spoke to earlier in the morning chimes in to say that she told me to come in with my insurance (that they've had in their system since July). I repeated that I went home and called CareMark and received confirmation that I'm all set and the script was approved. At this point I had enough of their deliberate rudeness and snarky responses. Told them to forget it, I'm going to a competent location and never coming back to this location again. I could hear them laughing as I drove away. When I got home, I called CareMark back and explained the whole situation again. The rep called 109 Main Street and after talking with the tech, he learned that all of the issues were from her entering my insurance information incorrectly and also that she set up the script as a self pay and it wasn't billing through my insurance. Come on now! This lack of attention caused an enormous inconvenience for me and others. Listen, I get it, CVS is short staffed, but the kind of people they are employing at this N. Andover location are awful. Zero customer service. The whole time I felt this was a game of cat and mouse and that they were enjoying every minute of it. Wow. What happened to work ethic, attention to detail, empathy and being a genuine customer service representative?!

This pharmacist was so helpful I was very appreciate how she help me during my visit. Plus she save me by noticing that one of my prescription was cancel by my doctor and she refund my purchase before I left the pharmacy. This manager is perfect and very helpful to customers I notice while I was waiting in line.

I have used this store at least weekly for ten years and I find the staff to be uniformly courteous and helpful. The only negative thing I can say is that one of the two self check-out machines is down pretty often.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Was left on hold at pharmacy for more than 40 minutes. I was calling to clarify an important prescription. I drove to the store while I was still on hold, spoke to the technician and was told to come back in 20 minutes, all still while on hold. I have never not had a problem filling prescriptions, they rarely answer their phone in a timely manner. The troll of a supervisor in the pharmacy just now told me that if I had an issue with my extra care card or extra bucks I would have to go stand in the line at the front of the store to have it dealt with after having stood in the line at the pharmacy. For years I have wanted to change my pharmacy, but this is the closest proximity wise. After another difficult trip to the pharmacy I am going to change over all my prescriptions to Walgreens and hope it's better.

THE CASHIER FARTED IN MY FACE!!!! They got very upset because I asked where the condoms and plan B were, because they were pro life, and proceeded to fart in my face. I think they also soiled their pants at the same time! Awful service. I am never going back....

This old lady, Elaine, is by far the rudest employee I've see. If you look on google reviews, many other people share the same opinion. She profiles, stares, and is arrogant to customers for no reason. You want to use a coupon with her? Good luck, she thinks you're stealing. Wanna use the self checkout so you can avoid her? Good luck, she comes right next to you and stares at you. She said "Don't mind me, I'm doing my job!!" I don't think she was trained properly at all. She does whatever she wants and says whatever she wants. She's there all day everyday. Avoid this store.

This is the poorest excuse for a pharmacy. My MD sent 3 prescriptions for blood pressure medications. I requested and paid for delivery service which was confirmed both on line and email by CVS. The confirmation states the medications would be delivered the next day between 9-11 am, When the medications didn't arrive I called CVS. The person I spoke with said they were mailed out that morning (day 2) because they were requested so late, Despite confirmation stating otherwise. Day 3 no meds and now CVS site states they're ready for pick up and there is no longer a message stating they were being delivered. When I spoke with CVS on day 3 ( without blood pressure medications} They told me my medications were in a container at CVS for a nurse or some person I designated to pick up. I NEVER designated them to be picked up, I paid for them to be delivered. I am bewildered at how a pharmacy can be so incompetent and I feel they are dangerous. These medications were provided to help prevent a stroke. They gave bizarre excuses as to why they weren't delivered but never offered to assist in getting my medications to me and actually lied saying they were sent. Horrible pharnacy with horrible service
