“I consider myself quite the jerky connoisseur and this is the best I’ve had hands down. Rarely can I find jerky thats spicy enough but their extra spicy teriyaki is perfect, worth every penny and then some.”
“Elia's has been a Wilmington staple for many years, and although I've only started going in the past 10 years of my life, I wish I had started going sooner.
Where else in Wilmington can you get groceries, deli and grill-able meats, and liquor all in one store?
As it's local, the prices can be a little less than desirable, but just for convenience sake alone it's worth it, not to mention supporting small, local business.
Personal favorites are the marinated meats (either from the counter, or over in the fridge pre packed) especially the steak tips, however their chicken salad is a sleeper hit, and I haven't tried one of their other salads that have disappointed thus far (the red bliss dill potato salad is amazing).”

“House marinated steak tips and chicken!!! Omfg melt in your mouth when oven cooked in pyrex!!! The absolute only way to cook if you want full flavor and melt it your mouth meats!! Also all highest quality, you'll never eat local basket meat glue and medicated meat again... you cant. Its unsettling what your meats should taste like!!! IYKYK??❗❗??☝️”
“I have been ordering from Walden for a couple of years now, and I love knowing that I am buying meat from animals that were raised properly, not in massive feed lots. The ability to not only have a repeating order but also add on specific items is fantastic. The sausages can run a bit salty for our taste, but the ham and bacon and other cuts have been great. Even offal like tongue is wonderful to be able to buy when we feel like it. You do have to plan your orders in advance if you want to add on something special, but it's worth it.”
“Taste was good, quality is fairly good, but I was disappointed that a lot of the cheese leaked out during cooking. I followed the directions, 350 degree oven for 35 minutes.”
