“I truly believe finding Lisa and the team at AAMCO was divine intervention. Before finding them, I was completely at my wits’ end trying to get my son’s car repaired. I had physically brought the car to two different shops that committed to doing the transmission work, only to hold onto the car for nearly two weeks and then back out. I honestly didn’t know who I could trust anymore. I reached out to a good friend of mine who lives in Washington State. Her husband knows a lot about cars. From across the country he researched transmission shops and actually called different places on my behalf. He spoke with Brad at AAMCO, and after that conversation, he told me, “Trust them. They’re going to take care of you.” He was absolutely right!!
From the beginning, my experience with Lisa and the entire team was completely different. They did what they said they were going to do. They fixed the car, the price was reasonable, and most importantly, I felt like I could trust them. You don't often walk into a repair shop and find a woman at the helm who is not only running the business but is incredibly knowledgeable about cars and genuinely cares about her customers. Lisa made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns, and never made me feel like I didn't understand what was happening with the car.
There are plenty of places that can repair a vehicle, but finding people who are honest, knowledgeable, fair, and trustworthy is something special. I am incredibly grateful to Lisa, Brad and the entire team for taking such good care of my son's car and of me. I would recommend them without hesitation. Sometimes the right people really do come into your life at exactly the right time. For me, finding this shop was one of those times. Thank you!”

“We were stranded at Xfinity center in Mansfield with a dead battery. They sent Paul who tried to jump with his battery pack. No luck he said it could be our starter. So he calls it in and request a tow for us. They sent out a 2nd guy Jeffrey P. He tried his battery pack and the car starts. Jeffery was so helpful and professional! Thank you Jeffrey for getting our car started so we could head home.”

“All the horror stories you hear about automotive shops….FORGET ABOUT THEM. Advanced auto repair went above and beyond during my emergency. I needed same day service or I would’ve been stranded for the weekend. They told me to come by, on a Friday at that, and took care of everything. The parts I ordered online were faulty yet they did not scold me for it. Said there’s a store short walk down the street and we’ll get it working. That’s exactly what they did. “I have an SUV, I went to an auto repair shop in Norwood; the mechanic did not figure out the problem, then I went to Roman’s auto, he figured it out before even starting putting it on vacuum leak smoke device. Also, my father in law has an old Honda accord that has a problem and he could not even drive it at all, and he took it to many mechanics. When he thinks to fix it and sell it, I refer him to Roman’s auto, my father in law was very surprised as he fixed it for him and he sold it for $ 3000 after he had it in his parking lot for years.
