I needed a rental while my vehicle was in the auto body shop for repairs. Kathy picked me up at Gaumond's when I dropped my car off. She made the paperwork very easy and understandable, and thoroughly reviewed the car with me (Kathy made note of prior damage). Midway through the 20 day rental, I exceeded my debit card's daily maximum. I returned the same day to make it right. A super experience from start to finish.

I had reserved a car online and when I went to pick it up, there weren't any cars available. My father (who lives in CT) had been taken to the hospital and I needed to get there. When I explained the situation to Brittany (Kivlehan), she made it work for me. Mind you, this was Saturday at 11:00am before a holiday weekend. I know her hands were tied but Brittany went above and beyond to help me. I'm giving the process 4 stars (because if there aren't any cars available, you shouldn't be able to reserve one) but if I could give Brittany a 10, I absolutely would!

If I could I would put negative ratings I would. The most disturbing and disgusting people I have ever met. I was told lies when I picked up my car for the week. I was dragged through 10 different people to speak to because nobody knows how to do the job they are hired for. The manager is a joke, and thinks it’s a joke to hang up and speak to people rudely. Absolutely will not be recommending this garbage place and will be speaking to corporate!

I reserved and pre paid for an SUV way ahead of my trip because I needed space for a mobility scooter to fit plus our luggage and people. When I went to pick up my rental I was told they didn't have my SUV I reserved that all they had was a car and there was nothing they could do. The car was not big enough for everything. What is the point of making a reservation and pre paying for it if they can just tell you when you arrive at pick up that they don't have the car you reserved. They knew ahead of time that an SUV rental was being picked up so why not have it there? I will never rent from them again if they don't actually keep the car you picked at the location

Do not get the Kia niro electric car. Super bad experience and car just stays in neutral more then once. I also didn’t get the car I booked for and they tried to call me when I was already on my way to tell me they didn’t have the car anymore. Very bad service and integrity.

Dishonest!! Pricing was incorrect, provided no receipt for the transaction, and did not call with a total as promised. I don’t even know what I just paid for. Would not recommend.

Frequent renter for work, typically do not use Hertz - this review is best suited for people that have a choice in who they rent with, sometimes emergencies arise and you're just stuck with who you are stuck with but for everyone else, here you go:
Returned a rental a day early but Hertz did not provide a receipt showing reduced charges so I called the office - employee answered and told me they do not have access to receipts and she then contacted a manager on the other line, manager also said they dont have access to receipts and told me to look it up on their website using my record number. Went to the website and entered my rental record and last name, tried various combinations and links - but the screen just defaults to give you options to make a new rental. Called back and they gave me another phone number to call - their billing department - which was busy. So ultimately I went to my credit card to record the fee but I cant verify what add-ons they charged me for because its not a receipt.
The takeaway here is if you are reading this and you need a business rental, I would highly dissuade you from this. It would have been easier to build a car out of scrap metal than it was to ask three different people for a recipt.

Has to be one of the worst locations. Twice I've tried to rent a car for a trip and on the day of picking up the car they either don't have the car I rented or they offer me a stupid electric car since nobody wants those. I don't understand the point of reserving a car then they never have anything but electric. Do yourself a favor don't use this terrible car rental place!

The worst experience I have ever had with a rental car. Zeros stars if that was an option. I prepaid online, when I went to pick up the car I was told they couldn’t find my payment, they were going to charge me again (plus insurance I added on) and the original payment would be credited when I returned. The employee, Daniel, kept saying he was left alone by his manager and didn’t know how to handle these things and the manager would fix it. When we dropped the car off, after about 15 minutes of also complaining that the manager was still on vacation and she didn’t know how to handle issues, the new employee informed us the $370 we were charged at pick up was EXTRA fees and there was nothing she could do about it. When we explained what we were told at pickup, her reply was “oh he’s not very good at explaining things, sorry”. Completely livid and out about $300, I called the 800 number only to have the representative audibly laugh at my issue. This is the most unprofessional branch and company I have ever dealt with. They have a lot of work to do on training and customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid Hertz at all costs.

I rented a car from them and I forgot something in the car and they went out of their way to make sure I got it back I'm a mailman so I don't have much time to go over there because I work from 7:30 in the morning to 6:30 at night 7:00 sometimes and they delivered to my house I am very appreciative

I rented a car from Hertz due to a family emergency that was out of state from 11/13-11/15. I was given a price of $120.26 for the rental however I was charged over $276.00. After talking with 3 people they were finally able to locate my rental receipt (To date, I have yet to receive my rental receipt from Hertz) . I was advised that I was charged a $100 extra fee because I returned it at a different location and there were additional taxes that needed to paid. I was NEVER advised of this fee or the additional taxes nor was I was provided with any receipt showing this extra fee/taxes. Had I been properly advised I would have returned it at the location I picked it up at. (It was only about 20-30 min away from this location) The gentleman on the phone was not able to assist because it needs to go through upper management. Hertz, has not taken any responsibility.

Short hrs on Sat., no hrs of operation on Sun. If you drop off your rental during those hours, you pay until the next time they are open, even if it is past your drop of arrangement set on line & you met your obligation.

This store needs knowledgeable and honest employees. Often tries to up selI. I was told I have no choice in gas or electric unless I rent the large vehicles .
