I came here on Wednesday with my daughter, and they ad a small pumpkin patch which all the pumpkins were either green or had holes in them. Then we went to the gift shop and spent $27 on fudge and it was horrible! It didn't even taste like fudge. The apple crisp was even worse, it was like eating oatmeal with apples! Horrible! Very disappointed!

Drove 45 minutes to go apple picking with my family just to find out they aren’t doing apple picking.. it’s October 6th. No warnings on their website, even called in days before to ask the women questions about the orchard .. no warning about no apple picking. Absolutely irritated and for this I will NEVER return.

If you want to get tasty apples , fudge, and apple and cookie treats, pick out a pumpkin, choose some candy , and visit a cute gift shop in a picture pretty spot, then Brookfield orchards which has been welcoming families for decades, is the place to go. However, be aware of their pricing and labeling when buying apples. A bag of apples is $9.50 for small size and about$15 for the large size if you buy a single kind like Macintosh for example. But, Brookfield orchards has many different varieties and although you can fill your own bag with a variety of apples, there is no way to identify the apples once in the bag. Putting them in different bags is not an option as you are charged $9.50 for a bag even if it’s not full. So, if apple surprises work for you, great. I was very disappointed as I have no idea what variety I am eating, and being from out of state, I wanted to try a variety. This is one area where the orchard fails.

Things have changed over the years. It has become an antique shop instead of a gift shop. Baked items are still awesome

What a nice orchard! Great place to bring kids. They have a nice playground, really cool country store with very good prices. They make fresh fudge and it smells amazing if you go near the section you will end buying some! Great cider donuts, nice apples! Really great experience all in a beautiful setting.

We LOVE it here! I’ve been coming here for many years with my kids and now I brought my grandson who is 2. They are so nice here and there are fun activities for the kids, live band, vendors, wine tasting and of course a huge apple orchard to pick many different variety of apples. Inside the barn you will find apple pies, cider donuts, cheese, fudge, antiques, kids toys, candy, local honey, jams, local maple syrup…..Just about anything you’d want! They are also open year round if you are looking for some fresh apples or a delicious bag of cider donuts!
