One Star is Too Generous — A Masterclass in Ineptitude
If you enjoy wasting your time, receiving contradictory information, and being passed around like a hot potato, then Lowe’s is your paradise. Otherwise, steer clear.
Trying to get help from Lowe’s customer service is like trying to navigate a corn maze blindfolded — every turn leads to another dead end. You’ll encounter apathetic employees who either don’t know what they’re doing or simply don’t care. Need help locating an item? Good luck. Ask a question, and you’ll get blank stares, vague gestures, or worse — confidently wrong answers.
Follow up on an order? Expect a Kafkaesque cycle of transfers, disconnections, and miscommunication. Want to return something? Better block off a few weeks (or months) on your calendar and prepare for no-shows and endless excuses.
Scheduling a pickup to return an item? They will give you an 8am-8pm block of time so you re-arrrange your entire day to then not show up, make you call to find out why, just to be told it's not worth it for them to send someone to pick up the item.
It’s honestly impressive how consistently disappointing Lowe’s has become. At this point, they’re not just failing at customer service — they’ve perfected the art of making customers regret ever walking through their doors.

Customer service at North Dartmouth are not helpful at all and rude. I bought a washing machine from them it worked exactly 2 time since I bought it's only been 2 weeks since I bought it. They will not take it back and give a new one and I have to go through the trouble of contacting the company "MayTag" to come out and look at it in a week or two mean while have to leave the comfort of my house to go to a laundry place to do my laundry... Never again I will buy anything from Lowe's as far as electronics. Their warranty is exactly 48 hours. That's crazy to me . NEVER AGAIN.
And MAYTAG Products are junk my Refrigerator also bought from Lowe's after 1 year I had to spend $600 to get IT fixed. Also MAYTAG. NEVER AGAIN

Customer service is useless. Called ahead to pick up an expensive item, just to drive hours to find out it was heavily damaged. They were ready to load it into my truck until I realized all the accessories were missing and damaged. I was told it would be made right after wasting my time, and nothing has been done.

Lowe’s usually has most things I need for the home, but the checkout process needs to be updated to be able to tap checkout and/or Apple Pay too!

I prefer Lowe's over the other box box store. It's geared more toward homeowners. Nice displays .

I bought a kobalt lawn trimmer last year. A 3-cent spring popped out while I was adjusting the string
it won't run without it. I contacted Lowe's customer service for a replacement and was told that they don't supply any replacement parts for their products. They told me to try Amazon. This thing is a year old. Every time I go into that store I leave with some kind of defective product. Whether it's aphids in their plants or products that they stopped making parts for. Home Depot is a quarter of a mile away. Such a short distance for such a big payoff. NEVER will I walk into that store again

Worst Lowe’s I have ever been to, there is no customer service at this location and when you do finally get help it’s a disaster. Placed a bunch of items at will call for my contractor to pick up, when he came to pick up the items they were no where to be found. The store was claiming they didn’t have the items and I “ must have walked out with them” finally after two hours the contractor ended up finding the missing items himself behind the desk of the associate that was helping him. This Lowe’s and the staff are a joke.

Typical atmosphere of a box store searching for help in any given department then to only have someone, for example, in the plumbing or electrical section and have no idea on how to help you with basic questions about an item or help you find what you need. But, these stores are designed as a kinda do it yourself setup, and employees are not there to teach you about wiring or offer any non-proffessional information when it comes to safety.
