Always a pleasure. What do you need? A gizmo that attaches to a whatchamacallit? They probably have it. Birdseed to Lumber, wonderfully courteous and extremely helpful. Last minute Christmas light? No problem. Paint, well of course. And candy bar at checkout. Gotta love it. A hometown staple.

Just left here trying to get propane. They said my tanks were expired and one expired in 1988. I did try explaining I'm sure they're recertified and I didn't even live here then (I also would have been 9 years old)
They were insistent and refunded me.
Same thing happened to a customer in front of me and they had him buy a new tank.
Drove to to the North Andover Ace Hardware and got them filled no issue. The operator there was able to correctly spot the recertification date of 2020 and kindly explained to me a tank is good for 5 years after the recertification so in 2023 I'm clearly fine.
You guys need training on looking for dates. You have a great colleague at your North Andover location that can help you. Give them a call!!
Just a waste of 20 mins of my life due to incompetence. And I think they (inadvertently) scammed the guy in front of me into buying a tank.

I find it funny that this company is supposed to be a great place of employment and offer quality customer service but suddenly started to fire all their minority employees in a 3 month span. Makes me question a few things about this place.

If you want to go to a lumber yard and get the service you deserve go to a Reading lumber . Great service and they know what they're talking about . Plus when you buy lumber from them it doesn't twist up in 2 days .

Prices never match the shelf prices. Never have enough stock and customer service is awful. I usually go to the smaller hardware store for better service and help. It’s not existent here. In the middle of searching for screws the employee “Chris” abandoned me for a contractor/ bigger customer. Go to Home Depot instead!
