“Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my little boy. I layed down with him on the floor at DAH for his last hours sobbing that the time had come. I’ve been a client at DAH for 25 years. 3 out of my 5 dogs have had their last moments there as well as the 5 of them getting routine care. Over the last year I have spent a lot of time there. Always greeted with excitement and love by the receptionists, always greeted with kindness and professionalism by the vet technicians when in the exams rooms, and always given wonderful thorough and thoughtful care by the Drs (especially Dr. Anderson). But, it isn’t just those moments that stand out… it’s the little ones… the ones when I am waiting for my pups to come back into the exam rooms… when I hear the staff traveling back and forth doing there work out back… hearing them interact with every animal they are caring for, these people are SPECIAL! Their jobs are not easy… they do it because they love animals and the people who love animals… life isn’t perfect… and none of us are… but, I wouldn’t want another team of people caring for my four legged fur family. I am beyond grateful to each and every staff member. I just got off the phone with Lois who called to check in. You are all angels on earth!”

Our two cats, Feather and Twinkie, are not fans of vet visits, but they quickly know they’re in good hands as soon as the exams begin. Our Feather is missing a back paw so I really appreciate our provider feeling her leg and joint to ensure Feather has a great life!

“I was able to check in at my scheduled appointment time. The receptionist and front office staff were ALL very friendly to myself and my dog. Short wait and was escorted in to meet with the Vet. The facility was clean and free from odor. My Veterinarian is Dr. Julie Haller who is ALWAYS thorough, kind and untrusted. She reviewed old records, asked about updates and any concerns. Dr.Haller was caring and thoughtful. I have been a customer of Bulger Animal Hospital for twenty years and have never been disappointed. I refer the business to friends and family. My only concern is cost which can be higher than other veterinary practices.”

“This place has always made me and my pups feel welcomed and heard! When we lost one of our fur babies to a hit and run a year ago they were so helpful with everything! Dr. Dunn is amazing with my pups and always remembers them. They love him and are always excited to see him. It is a little expensive but my boys are given great care so they are worth it.”

My two little dogs are my whole world and they have taken such incredible care of them, I have cried out of gratitude. I moved here from out of state and I couldn’t get in any vet for months. When my one dog needed potentially emergent surgery they squeezed her in the next day and we have been going there ever since. I love these people and am so incredibly grateful for them.”

“To start off with I have to say the doctors, vet techs, and door greeters are great. There is a lot of staff and a few I assume are administrative. The new office is very attractive. After reading some of the reviews I can see that some of the cons are unfair because in any practice of medicine there are protocols and to make a diagnosis you do need to perform test to rule out other probable causes and many people do not understand that. I brought my dog to the clinic and was satisfied with the care. I came only because it wasn't corporate, and the Middlesex Animal Hospital closed, and its great DMV referred me. I do believe the care is superior to corporate care BUT the costs are extremely high, but I guess if you want high end service you must pay high end prices. If you are a senior and on a fixed income this is not the place for you. To sum it up, docs, techs and door greeters are very friendly and caring. If you are on social security and a fixed income this place is not for you. I was lucky enough to return to my original vet because he reopened his practice, and he has an exceptional reputation around my area and pricing for those financially constrained is affordable.”
