We've stayed at The Crow's Nest Resort many times over the last three years. The rooms are clean and well kept. During the Covid predicament, we were made to feel safe with contactless check-in. The manager makes himself available at all times to provide excellent service. He's constantly on the go, but always has time to greet guests checking in or on the boardwalk. He's familiar with the area, so he can offer good suggestions for dining and entertainment.

When we come up north we always stay at the Crows nest. Fabulous views! Friendly staff. The man that runs the place (John) goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We plan on returning next year.

Stayed here with family a few times. The accommodations were very nice. Very clean and you walk out the door there is the ocean. The Manager John was very professional and helpful. It’s like having your own little apartment at the beach. Place was cleaned everyday by staff. We are planning to go back after the summer rush! Mary L.

I rarely write reviews, but I am so happy to be spending another vacation at my favorite resort, I wanted to take a moment to share how great it is. The Crow's Nest is located in a section of North Truro where the views are incredible. CapeCod Bay is on one side and the spectacular sand dunes are on the other. This place has a wonderful old school charm that is lost in so many places. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath unit is immaculate. Bedding is always stripped down and changed including the mattress pads and the bedspreads. This place washes everything which makes me feel very safe and keeps me coming back. John, the on site manager is honestly the kindest guy and goes out of his way to help with anything you might need. I absolutely love coming here and this stay has been wonderful. Thank you Crow's Nest! PS: The sunsets are spectacular here!

The Crows Nest Resort is the cleanest, most well-kept accommodations of any place I've stayed on the Cape. I stayed at the Resort from July 2-9, 2022. The location is always immaculate, from the floors, the dishwasher, sinks, tubs, showers, and bedrooms. When I checked in, I noticed that all the appliances were new, and the management had installed all new quartz countertops. The balcony off the back of my unit was brand new, and while I was there, they replaced every single one at the Resort. Most rooms have jacuzzi's, and all have working washers and dryers. There were 5 of us in my party in a two-bedroom. The pull-out sofa was comfortable, I know, I was the one who slept on it. The manager John is pleasant, knowledgeable, and hands-on. Anytime I have needed anything from him, whether it be extra towels or utensils, or help with a remote, he is courteous and quick to respond. The Resort has a reputation for being updated continuously. My room looked freshly painted. To the best of my knowledge, The Crows Nest Resort is the only Resort in Truro that has been approved for year-round occupancy because of the meticulous care given to the upkeep, maintenance and winterization of all the units. The manager and owner of the facility are fair-minded and honest and try to work with each and every client to ensure their stay is as pleasant as possible.

Just plain gross. The place was filthy. We spent half a day cleaning it ourselves! Dirty floors, pillowcases, windows, shower, and bathtub. No shower pressure, mold in bathtub. The fridge was sticky and smelled like fish. Broken ice trays leave the freezer full of frozen water. Dirty silverware, ancient worn out kitchenware. The washer was broken. Window knobs missing. Outlet in living room falling out of the wall. Dirty towel and hair band left from previous tenant. Dirty bandaid hanging from the side of the kitchen table!! Human hairballs everywhere. I The curtains in the master bedroom were covered with hair. Light over fireplace flickered non-stop. Front door lock was very loose and difficult to use, Very strong, pervasive odor of sewer by the office. Paint is peeling on the outside of the building. It is obvious that nothing is reinvested in the place. This is such a shame. It used to be such a wonderful place to stay. It was clean and weull kept. My family used to look forward to it every year. They still charge a pretty penny to stay there, but the only thing it has left going for it is the location. Never again!

Thankful that we could sit outside most of our stay and enjoy the beach. Needed to contact owner at check in when placed us on 2nd floor when I clearly documented “first floor only” at multiple points during reservation. Would only provide 1st floor room for 7 of 10 night stay. Agreed to cancel my last 3 nights without fees. Walked into room and hit with an unclean smell, like the rags and mops just moved dirt and grime around. Black mold on surface vent of air conditioning unit that blows air into room. Mildew in shower. Ants. Last family’s finger prints remain on glass door. Grime and dirt that has been there for a long time (on walls, under couch and tv stand, in drawers, on curtains). This was cumulative dirt from a business that does not clean properly ever. Could only get a clean towel by handing in a dirty one & only one face cloth per person, per day. Tub/shower did not drain adequately so we got to stand in our own dirty water broth and then rinse off our ankles after getting out of shower. If you are looking for use of a jacuzzi tub (as advertised), you are about 15 years too late! Grungy, skeevy; had to do our own version of cleaning in order to feel comfortable to put food in cabinets, use utensils, run air conditioner without ingesting mold. The one star is for outside view and beach and luckily, our bed sheets were clean. A lot of money spent for that one star. No. No. No. Do NOT stay at Crows Nest “Resort”.

View is amazing. This is our fourth stay at Crow’s Nest, and most likely our last! Unit was dirty…bathroom floor had sand in the corners, kitchen counter was not wiped down, the previous occupants cvs prescription for Paxlovid (Covid medication), we left in a bag, there was a plastic toothpick cover on the floor next to the bed (?), piece of a child’s toy was on the floor next to the couch. Obviously, management did not check the unit prior to our arrival. There is only one large fry pan, which has been heavily used, and no scrubber sponges, , yet folks are expected to wash and put away pots and pans. Whoever stated in the unit above us, sounded like Bigfoot!!!

The only reason to stay here is being right on the water. The studio was very grungy and in dire need of maintenance and a deep cleaning, with the exception of a recent renovation to the kitchen area which thankfully was new enough to be clean! Basically a “motor lodge” motel setup, no resort type amenities.

Loved the view. So glad to have the gas fireplace especially when power went out in the area. Kitchen, washer/dryer were appreciated. Separate living room a plus for partner who has different sleep pattern. Manager very accommodating.

A little pricy but a nice place to stay. They have a variety of room types from studio to 3 bedroom. All rooms face Cape Cod Bay. The view is priceless, a great place to relax to the sound of the surf. You can walk out your door right on to a private beach. The rooms are efficiencies so you can cook. They even have a washer dryer. Maybe a little out dated but comfortable and clean.
