“Before college, I attended John S. Burke Catholic High School and Guerin Preparatory Catholic High School. As an international student, I developed a deep appreciation for the Catholic community. I found the Catholics to be wonderful, friendly people with strong faith and unwavering loyalty to their beliefs. I enjoy the good atmosphere here!”
“I’ve been coming to Shambhala Northampton for the Thursday 30s and under group and the Sunday sitting, and it has become a really meaningful part of my week. There’s something very grounding about the space and the people there. It feels welcoming, calm, and genuine in a way that is hard to find.
What I appreciate most is that it doesn’t feel performative or intimidating. I always feel like I can just show up as I am, slow down, and reconnect with myself a little. I especially appreciate the discussion session after the Thursday meditation, which makes the experience feel even more reflective and human. The community has a warm and thoughtful energy, and both the Thursday and Sunday sessions have given me a sense of consistency and peace that I really value.
I’m very glad I found it, and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a meditation space that feels warm, real, and supportive.”
