The Hampshire Regional YMCA is a community-focused gym with very friendly and helpful staff. The facility is fully equipped, offering a wide range of amenities. These include a full weight room, plenty of great cardio equipment and machines, yoga studios, two pools, a sauna, and a steam room. There is also an outdoor workout area, a basketball court, and childcare. Members find the gym membership to be a good deal and well worth the price for regulars, with additional perks like free coffee. However, the property is a bit antiquated and some equipment is very outdated and needs to be replaced. Specific issues include weight benches that are very low and short, affecting certain exercises. Some maintenance and environmental health and safety concerns are noted, such as a locker room in rough shape, water fountain issues, and potential hazards in the sauna. The overall atmosphere is great for families and adults, with a supportive community, though one reviewer expressed feeling isolated during workouts. Despite some areas needing improvement, many members are very happy with their membership and highly recommend it.
Exceptional place to get in shape,or just hang out with some friends and play some basketball, lift some weights ,exc. Very clean place. Lots to offer.

Visited as a traveling national YMCA member, and the staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating and gave me a thorough tour without me even asking.
