This is probably the nicest stop&shop I have ever been in. Nice bright store the lay out is totally different also but a really nice store.

On May 1, I arrived at Northampton MA Stop and Shop exactly 10:00pm according to my iPhone as the store was closing. The door was still open. I went in and someone said the store is closed. I said to the folks at the register right near the door, “could I just buy one package of blueberries”? ((which were near the register). The cashier looked to the supervisor (a woman) near her for a response. She (the supervisor/manager? said very rudely “No you can’t!) I said that’s not very good customer service.
In a time when you are competing with a new Supermarket across the road, I was left feeling insulted and angry.

It's a big store , with more items than most food stores. Prices aren't bad either.

highly recommend my plumber Quinn at Cloverdale plumbing. long estab company. not the cheapest. not the most expensive. know what they are doing. just got two new toilets. they hauled off older ones.

Visited with relative to purchase holiday snack food and beer. There's no beer here, because MA. I'm more familiar with the Ahold store Giant, in the DC area. This store is somewhat spartan in comparison, but still has all the same products.

The men who work in the meat department are the best. Very friendly and helpful. All in all a bunch of great guys. I enjoy stopping and chatting with them for a short while. The Northampton store is very lucky to have this team. They all enjoy what they are doing and seem to get along very well with each other.

Self checkout machines mess up ALOT. Staff is often aloof and unhelpful.

The National supermarket in the USA, both its products and its prices are top-notch, the attention of the employees is excellent, they made me feel at home.
