Horrible people work here who are rude mean and nasty cashiers take others ahead of you even in middle of your transaction and have an equally mean and nasty attitude. If I could give zero stars I would don't shop Noho

So I went to NorthHampton Walmart in Massachusetts today had to return and a couple things to grab ,before I know it I have a short little angry man telling me to come into the back with him with two police officers they said I stole what I had to return so after an hour and a half of them reviewing the footage they said I didn't steal anything and I got my stuff back but not before I heard him joking around about me being a queer who probably works at divas which is a gay bar in town I could not believe my ears very professional ! especially in a town like NorthHampton where it's primarily gay and lesbian ! to even conceive that talk like this is still going on by employees at huge corporations like Walmart is not OK. And I hope whoever reads this jumps on the bandwagon because I'm going to the rooftops with this and I hope y'all come with me!

This place is close by so I've stopped here a few times before. Never great experiences, hardly ever found what I was looking for, but tolerable. Stopped in today in hopes of buying a window AC unit. They didn't have the one I wanted in stock, which was fine. On my way out my partner decided to buy a pack of gum to justify the trip. Long story short, the self checkout chip reader wasn't working and we just decided to put the gum back. On my way out I hear the two self checkout employees making snarky comments such as "as all that for a pack of gum?" and "it's just a dollar." When I went back to ask them if there was a problem I got some sort of garbled answer about the checkout machine. This is the last time I'll be accused of shoplifting by employees who can't bring themselves to say as much to my face because there's no chance I'm going back.

I stood in line and listened to a plain clothes dressed Male, talk on their company phone about the "tight" female he was going to go watch. He was going to go find her and watch 'her tight self" up close. Do not let your wives, friends, girlfriends or daughters go here. Management was not much help.

I ordered something online for pickup and it's been about 10 minutes already and there are no associates to be seen at the pick up counter. On the counter it said to touch the pin pad and it will alert an associate that someone is needed in the pick up area. Still no one has come 10 minutes after I hit the screen, but it continues to beep. I finally caught an employees attention that was going into the back room and in a very rude tone, almost yelling at me, she says "Do you need help?!" I replied with "I am just picking up an item" and she repeated herself again "DO YOU NEED HELP WITH SOMETHING?!" And that point I just replied "Yes." And im still here waiting. Multiple associates have walked past me and just glared at me, offering no help. I'll no longer be coming to this store.

I mean, does anyone shop here for anything other than convenience and low prices? Half the time I'm there, no one asks if I need anything (which is fine by me. The less human interaction the better), but tend to yell across the store to each other. The self check out makes it easier to get in and out, easy to use, but is always packed with little help. The staff are really nice when they do interact- especially the elderly woman who greets people. But major props go to the pharmacy staff. They are always super amazing and super helpful when anything with my medication goes wrong or I just have general questions.

It is not a supercenter so the selections are very limited. I failed to find lots of things, such as yogurt, frozen desserts, chicken breasts and curtains. I used self checkout without any problems. Staffs seemed very nice.

On not one but two recent occasions, I used the self-checkout registers and the machine did not scan my coupon correctly. The first time, I had to go to the customer counter to get the situation resolved. The parking lot was smelly and disgusting yesterday. Their return policy is strictly 45 days now. After that, they won't give you a refund or store credit. Nothing. I have had some good experiences here. You just never know how it's going to go. They have some food brands that I have not seen in the other markets. There are some interesting things in the freezer! I did have good success with Walmart.com online ordering with in-store pickup. There is a ton more inventory online. Pickup was easy at the back of the store.

Best Walmart around. Way better than the one in Hadley, like 1000 times better. Maybe smaller, but better. Less is more :) Bigger food selection and has a frozen food selection unlike Hadley Walmart. Very friendly staff. I live close to the Walmart in Hadley, but i drive out of my way to visit this store. I cringe if i have to go Hadley store. Only downside is they banned plastic bags in Noho so you're stuck with paper.

I hope if you need something large or small you use this store. They are always friendly, kind and courteous. We bought some small furniture and we asked if they could put it together and they said yes. I'm happy to wait a couple of days, and sometimes when it's not a late afternoon Sunday they can do it in a few hours. It wasn't extra. I'm always happy with this store. But I'm friendly... so maybe it helps to smile. Great store. 5 stars.

My girlfriend and I went after Christmas shopping tonight and asked for assistance from an employee, after waiting 30+ minutes we decided to get a different item than we were going to ask about. For after holiday sales I would think there should be employees working around the sales items to answer questions.

I'm ashamed to admit that we stopped to use the restroom and I ended up finding a pair of 100% rayon (which is a natural breathable fiber) pair of Aztec print bootie shorts. Yup. They are SO CUTE on my bum, and I hadn't had coffee yet, so I had a shopping accident. I'm going to need to offset my guilt at buying Wallmart goods and buying new, and buying non American. I have lots of shipping karma to fix. On that note, they had a line of super awesome America shirts, like with majestic eagles and flags, ($8 and Made In America. ) They are really thick cotton, and can be worn super earnestly, or in a normcore way. (And dental floss, and cheese) and all the other stuff they have really really cheap. Shipping local is what I prefer, but, in a pinch, or if money is tight... Well.... And nice big clean restrooms to pull you in.

I went there looking for a bike to purchase and I found one I liked for $125. I noticed it had a few scuff marks on it and wasn't in 100% condition. I was looking to find someone in the bike department to see if they had any others in this style brand new when the store manager John W walked by and asked If I needed help. I explained the situation and he politely looked to see if they had any others. They didn't, so he immediately offered to take $25 off the bike which would bring it to $100. I was more than thrilled! He also brought it to the front end registers for me and put a note with my name on it and told close by cashiers to discount it for me. This was an example of excellent customer service and I left northampton Walmart feeling very satisfied! Thank you John!!

I have been to this Walmart location many times in the past and have always left with mixed reviews. Generally when I have stopped here, I have been disappointing by how unorganized it can be, how terrible the parking lot is, as well as the fact that the check out lines are usually horrendous. Today though I had a totally different experience and for the first time I enjoyed coming to this location. When I came into the store I was looking for two particular items, a GPS and a Mother's Day card. As I was looking for a GPS I asked an employee to help me pick one out. This gentleman went out of his way to not only tell me about the options I had, but he went out back and grabbed me a GPS that was exactly what I wanted and was on sale! After having that success I went to the card aisle which was packed full of Mother's Day cards. They also had a ton of cards written in Spanish which was great because I had been looking everywhere for one. Finally, when checking out I had the pleasure of having the most polite cashier who greeted me warmly. It was also the first time that I didn't have to wait for what seems like an eternity to check out. I would have given this place a four star rating, but again my past experiences also fed into the rating. I will hope that the next times I go I will have the same experience as today!
