As a healthcare worker, I am appalled at how the staff at this pharmacy treats their customers. I have needed to use this pharmacy not only as a customer, but also as a medical professional calling from a providers office. The staff is extremely rude and impersonal. In person, the line to pick up medication is always 5-10 people deep. Then when you get to the counter, they tell you it's going to be another 30 minutes. EVERY TIME. They obviously DO NOT CARE about making you sit and wait there with an illness, or if you have a unwell child on your hands. Their prices are also significantly higher than other local pharmacies. I do not use CVS anymore, however, I was forced to use this location during an unfortunate circumstance when I had a sick child that needed medication urgently. Our regular pharmacy had already closed for the evening. There is a reason this pharmacy has an overall 1 star review from customers. Hope they go out of business.

Wish this location had more options for merch— drinks snacks, makeup, medications etc. The pharmacy is ok. Line at busy times like every other CVS or Walgreens.

Run don’t walk away from this pharmacy. Ridiculously long lines, limited hours and no drive thru. Go elsewhere

I would give 0 stars if possible. By far the most inconvenient, under-staffed, pain in the royal butt pharmacy I have ever dealt with bar none. Pretty sure this is the 2nd review about how bad this place is, apparently they do not care. Oh yeah, don't try going to get your scripts on your lunch break, they CLOSE!! For the love of God, get a clue, and hire enough people to manage your customers. What a clown show this place is....Sorry management, this is squarely on YOU. Wake up.

I have unfortunately used the CVS pharmacy for a year . I have given them many chances to redeem themselves and they just seem to get worse and worse every time. This review is a year in the making
There is always a 10 person line. Doesn't matter what time of day you go. There is 1 cashier and they take forever to find your stuff. Could a 2nd person ring people out? Their answer is always no.
I have an injection medicine. I need syringes to go with the medicine. Both were prescribed by my doctor at the same time in the same order. I get the medication but not the needles. When told that there are needles that go with the medication, they tell me those weren't on the order. I call their lie out by showing them a copy of the order from the doctor. They tell me I am lying and need to confirm with the doctor and that I will have to leave and come back. I said this screw up is your fault not mine, I need this taken care of now. An hour went by and they never called the doctor. I called the doctor myself and had him call the pharmacy to rectify the situation. They never picked up the phone.
For a year I can't get the needles with the medicine. They tell me that my doctor should put them on the same prescription. When I once again show them a copy of the prescription order form, they tell me that that isn't the form they have. I ask them to show me the form they have, they hide behind rules saying they can't show me that.
One year 1 gave them to fix things. I now drive 5 miles more just to pick up a simple med somewhere else

The pharmacy team at the Whitinsville CVS are horrible with their communication skills and accuracy of information. Each month, it takes them ALL day to fill my prescription, which is a matter of counting and putting 45 pills into a bottle. Their pharmacy closes at 9pm, and am I EVER notified that my prescription is ready to be picked up? NOPE, NEVER. I always either have to call and leave a voicemail, or I have to constantly check the status on my CVS app. The staff barely looks at you, and because there is no drive thru, you’re actually face-to-face with them. They are NOT friendly, and if they seem to be, it’s fake. They told me a few months ago that they were no longer accepting the GoodRX discount cards anymore, and I was astonished when I heard this, so I asked if all the CVS’s were done accepting GoodRX, and they told me YES. THAT WAS A COMPLETE LIE. I went on my GoodRX app AND called another CVS, and obviously Whitinsville CVS was LYING. Such a sad situation, especially for the elderly, who I’ve witnessed being “hurried through” their prescription pickup.

I would give this nasty pharmacy 0 stars if I could. Between not being able to get antibiotics, constantly getting the runaround and never having my meds ready after TWO hours, the list goes on and on,! Nevermind the rude employees and the rude pharmacist and always waiting 20 minutes in line! Disgusting!!

I read all of these one star reviews and was really expecting a negative experience at this CVS. However the medication I was picking up wasn't available through the Walmart Pharmacy so I headed over. There were maybe two people in line ahead of me and it moved fast. The lady at the register, Kerri, was friendly and helpful and the medication of which there is a shortage currently was ready and waiting for me. Great experience.

Unfortunately there's no Walgreens and Walmart Pharmacy isn't much better than CVS . 90% of the time they get prescriptions wrong . Wrong dosage , wrong price you name it . Actually should take the wrong dosage and get sick and sue the sh*t out of them . I bet they never screw anyone's prescription up again !! PS their mail order CVS Caremark is even worse !

My doctor prescribed an injectable medicine and syringes. I got the medicine okay, but they are out the the syringes. Okay, I don't need them for a couple of weeks. This is one of the most common syringes 1/2" 29g. I call after a week and they repeat the same mantra. We don't have any. Usually a pharmacist will order things the prescription requires. Not in this case. A couple of weeks later I have to pick up a different med and ask about the syringes. I haven't heard anything. I have to go to another counter where they can look up my prescriptions. I seems they could not look at the other register where they looked up my new med. So off I go. "I am looking for my syringes which my doctor prescribed along with my injectables". Oh, these are not covered.
Covered or not I need them. BTW my old pharmacy just gave them to me, no charge. She disappears and comes back with big plactic bag of syringes in ten packs. Checks the insurance again and yes they are still not covered. "So how much are these?" It must be secret, because she says $3-$4. A pack of 100 should be $20 max and this would be 30-40. No thanks, and stayed to tell her what lousy service they gave me. No syringes, no calls, etc. Thank god I am using this place only temporarily til I can get back to my old pharmacy. (NOT CVS) If you have any other options, use them.

The pharmacist has zero people skills. She acts like she knows more than the doctors. There is almost always a prescription line because usually there is only one cashier. The only reason why I have been using them is that they are close to my house.Today they cancelled a prescription that my doctor prescribed for surgery, because supposedly it interacts with another medication. MY DOCTOR HAS A LIST OF MY PRESCRIPTIONS! He knows what interacts with what. This is the second time they have done this. I am done with them.

Went to get a medication they didn’t have, which would have been fine except the blonde lady who informed me of this was extremely rude and acted like I was bothering her. Someone should tell her talking to customers is part of her job. I’m glad to travel 45 minutes to get my meds if it means never having to speak to her again, and I will never go back into that store for anything at all.

Rude staff and they’ve filled the wrong medication dose which messed up my thyroid. If a medication is not covered by insurance you will hear nothing from them so you have to be super on point forcing them to do their job or your medication will stay on limbo forever.
