Great Bar - Alot of History An old bar that has been around since the 60's in a building over a hundred years old. Came in here on a whim on a Sunday and honestly....could not be happier! the atmosphere was welcoming , friendly, and exactly the type of place I'd love to hide away and enjoy a well made drink in. it's my first time but I will ABSOLUTELY BE BACK. I'm DEFINITELY impressed! Tip: Raffle Wheel on Sundays - Play Thanks

Ok, I'm partial to the Gray Barn I must admit. I was brought up in this barroom. My late grandfather often stopped here to grab a beer, my grandfather was my caregiver and one of the most influential people in my life. We often stopped here in the Q 1960's when I was only knee high to a grasshopper (or something like that!!). I sometimes would refuse to go in because he could stay here for awhile sometimes and I would beep the horn after awhile and he would bring me out bottles of orange soda and chips to keep me quiet. Other times I would go in with him and I would ask if he was almost done and he would tell me "as soon as I'm done my beer we'll leave", somehow his beer would be full again next time I looked. So many hours and days spent in the Gray Barn. I remembered this place distinctly and I had never been back since the mid 1960's, so for my dear sweet grandfathers 120th birthday today I decided to go back (yes, it's still open!!!) and have a drink for him. I expected it had probably had some major changes in the last 50+ years since I've been here, but I couldn't believe it...it was almost exactly as I remembered it!!!! They had made very few changes!!! When you get to be my age changes are happening so fast and nothing is as you remember it, and I was overjoyed that it was the same place I remembered!! From the old bar to the wainscoting on the walls. The only thing missing was the pickle jar behind the bar!!! The memories of my time spent here were exactly as I remembered!!!
