Paw Planet
1167 Providence Rd, WhitinsvilleSuch a knowledgeable store owner who advocates for the dogs visiting her store. Took their training classes as well and would take definitely classes here again. A great experience for a very reasonable price.

Agape Animal Hospital
1114 Providence Rd, WhitinsvilleWe’ve been to other vets in the past, but our experience with Dr. Lawrence has been exceptional. He’s extremely knowledgeable and made Koda feel completely at ease during the visit. The entire staff here is responsive, caring, and dedicated. We’re so grateful to have found such a wonderful veterinary team!

Clark's Dog Kennel
425 School St, NorthbridgeMy dog decided to go for an unsanctioned visit to a neighboring property a couple of weeks ago, and was subsequently “busted” by animal control, who took him to Clark’s Dog Kennel. I had to wait till the next day to get him, and was afraid he would be traumatized by the experience. I was proven wrong when I got to Clark’s! I was warmly greeted by their friendly staff, and told immediately that my pooch is well, is fed, and rested. They brought him out to me, and for a minute there he looked like he wanted to stay for a bit longer! So- thank you to everyone at Clark’s for taking care of Bingo! I will definitely take advantage of Clark’s the next time I travel, and looking for a warm, caring place to board my dog!

West End Creamery
481 Purgatory Rd, WhitinsvilleHad a great Chocolate Chip here the past couple of years, and it's my go-to. Seriously delicious. Most recently, I decided to try the Rocky Road and was sadly disappointed. For some reason, they added almond extract - much too much almond extract that left bitter notes lingering on the palette. Unfortunately this overpowered everything else including the chocolate; a chocolate based ice cream should be chocolate forward. Instead of actual toasted almonds, which would have given that pleasing pop of nutty almond flavor, they used walnuts that, naturally, got soft and spongy. I had to try and figure out what that strange texture was that I was biting into. The marshmallow was some sort of sauce, had a very slimey mouth feel to it, and there was way too much in it turning the cone into a slimy, instead of creamy, treat. I don't think I've ever thrown out ice cream before until then. And it makes me sad because it's so simple to make an excellent Rocky Road. I honestly believe I chose the worst possible alternative, and thats completely on me (but if you want to bring someone you hate a treat, bring them this one).
Service here is always excellent, the staff is friendly, the portions are good, and they do a great job overall.
