Awful facility had a check from a member but could not cash it without opening an account or having an existing account yet the check is drawn from them this is a horrible policy for the existing members that want to use a personal check to make purchases outside of store with electronic point of sale and creates issues for small business owners and customers

Terrible. You need more workers because this is ridiculous. Every single time I come in here sitting waiting for 20 plus minutes just to deposit some money !!! Every single time !!!! Still waiting !!!

For whatever reason, they don’t like to inform you of relevant policies when it comes to check deposits. Waiting on day 4 of my check to clear I deposited after being told it would take 1-2. (Car insurance check after total loss auto accident where other driver at fault). Today 4 days later, I learn of an “extended hold” policy, with no accommodation in releasing funds before this upcoming Friday. Something about “large checks” ($3,000) and “unknown origin” (Arbella insurance isn’t that unknown last I checked). They won’t even release a portion. For context I’m destitute, genuinely need those funds to put down payment on car I started the purchase process of. If I had known about this policy, I would have paid the fee at a Walmart somewhere like that and deposited cash instead. Now I have a real concern of dealership voiding the transaction, which will be horrific at this point.
This after my first poor experience a few months back where you had to practically solve pi with the amount of steps they make you try to take when it comes to their own branch ATM eating your 20 dollars.
It is not just this location. Deposit was done here, tried getting help with Milford branch, and they are probably even worse. They pointedly refused to allow branch manager speak with me on the phone.
Overall not great morals with the bank as a whole. I truly believe they go out of their way to discriminate or demean poor / low income individuals based on my experiences. Hope others have / or had better luck with this bank, but unless you’re rich or of suspicious moral character, I would steer clear of doing any business with this bank, regardless of location. Looking forward to the day I close my account here to say the least.

I stopped in to open a second account and was pleasantly surprised at their kindness, patience, and efficiency of service. Geisha was great and took the time to not only help me open a new account but also explained options that I hadn't considered. She and the branch manager, Kathleen, also found some fraudulent charges on my old account and took care of contacting the fraud department right then and there. Even the teller who I made my deposit with was very nice. My wife and I have had this bank for a while but for being a “branch veteran”, they treated me like a brand new celebrity customer. I really appreciated it.

??we were highly disappointed. We did a plumbing job for our customers. We needed gas and some parts. They wrote us a check so we could get the supplies we need and go back to the job and they are the only bank that told me they do not cash checks unless you are a customer even though the check was drawn from that bank. I've never heard of a bank that won't honor their own checks and cash them. It was highly disappointing to have to drive all the way there and Lee than not be able to get gas and parts to go back and finish the job. The client was contacted about this and they were unhappy as well ?? This is my first ever bad review. I have left for anywhere. Again. I've never heard of a bank that won't honor their own checks and cash them. Unless you have an account with them, but who would want to open an account with a bank that you can't write other people's checks and they can't cash them? It makes no sense. It's not good for the business. It's not good for our business

I have been a customer of Santander Bank for over 20 years and have always been satisfied with their service. Today, they would not allow my husband to deposit my paycheck in to my savings account for me. It's imperative that he has the ability to make deposits for me as it is difficult for me to leave the house because I am my 93-year-old mother-in-law's caregiver. In addition, I work from home and need a bank that's easier to work with. I will be withdrawing my money and closing all accounts with this bank. They no longer serve my needs.

Convenient drive through ATM It was easy to get to from 146. The bank belongs to the VISA and PLUS network so that allows for people to withdraw even if not a Santander bank customer.

Horrible Bank All Around. Went this weekend to deposit Cash Into my Acct, And the ATM took It with no Receipt Or any Confirmation. Said Tech Error. Really?? Where's my Money?? Talked to the manager and was told Ill have to wait until Monday. Oh really? This is roughly the 5th time this bank has stuck it to me between the ATM and charges As their System updates horribly. Once my transactions are cleared, Im done with Santander!

Nice friendly staff. App is complete trash, facial recognition never works and is buggy. Isn’t the future of banking online Resend password code never comes through. 1997 -2022

No customer service whatsoever! Was trying to make a simple change to the account. Two weeks gone, nothing has been done. Calls and emails never returned.Thinking about moving my account to different bank.

For the past several months when I visitd this branch, 2 of the tellers are not wearing facial coverings. Denise routinely has her mask below her nose and the neck sleeve Harvey wears is usually slipping off his face. Today when I walked in, both Denise and Harvey had there mask & neck sleeve below their chin and didnt even make an effort to cover their face until a second customer walked in. The other teller and the 2 others sitting at their desks had their masks on. If you have to visit this branch use the drive through or make sure you have a good mask on
