Loved coming to this Shaws as it is so close to our house, but the front end workers buy out all the pokemon from the vending machine and openly talk about selling it for profit. One mentioned he spent his entire paycheck at the machine. Anytime I go to the store they are clicking on the machine and trying to get something before any kids can get a chance and will even make comments at you if you try to use the machine. Easier to just go to the new Big Y and save my kid the disappointment of an empty pokemon machine thats been drained by the employees

I had the best experience at this shaws location, there is a young man here, his name is Daniel, he works in produce, he was restocking the premade fruit cups and he was so friendly. The fruit looked fabulous and very fresh, Daniel told me that he personally is responsible for cutting the fruit and placing it on the shelves, he does a beautiful job here and always greets customers with a smile!

The deli is a damn joke they don't let you see a slice before cutting it & when you tell them they get rude about it. Also asking them to layer cheese or meats they have no idea what it means or how to do it, my salami was thick and piled high disgusting. I'll be going to STOP & SHOP going forward considering these deli associates need proper training and better people skills! I must have got looked at more than once like I was being judged while waiting in line!!

Love the convenience of this store, most of the employees are super helpful , but there are a few annoyances, the deli is super slow and closed on most days around 7pm, they have a great selection of products , but go in on a Monday and you will find most popular items not stocked , and last at all costs avoid the self checkouts, the attendant will hover over you and watch every move ,and they are not discrete about it, it’s less pressure just go to a regular checkout . I feel that with a few changes this could be a 5star store.

A bit pricey, but no Market Basket in the area. Why do I have to load all the discounts on my card 1 at a time? Can't they just do them for me?

We live in Douglas and went to Price Chopper in Webster this past Thursday and ordered a Bruins cake to pick up on Sunday at 10 am. We were assured both Thursday and again on Saturday that there was no issue. WELL 24 minutes before we were supposed to pick up the cake for a 1 pm birthday they called to inform us they couldn’t make the cake!! So now we are in full panic mode because we 3 hours to come up with a Bruins or any cake for an 8 year olds birthday party. I called Shaws and talked to Jordan in the bakery and I’ll tell you what she is awesome!! Not only did she have a cake for us in an hour it was the most perfect Bruins cake! Jordan and the team over here at Shaws in Whittinsville is top notch. We both almost cried when we saw his cake! Thank you, thank you, thank you Shaws and Jordan in the bakery, you saved a birthday and made an 8 year old little boy very happy! Us as well!

Shelves not stocked well. Even asked for some meat, guy went in to check, waited about 15 minutes, never came back. Then to top everything off, checking out, something rang up wrong, asked the (asian) lady for help and she was rude and not friendly, not the first time ive had to deal with her. Replace her and put the other lady back in the self checkout.

I bought an Easter ham today. A signature spiral cut ham. I cooked it and thought it didn't smell right but I wasn't sure so I cooked it and it didn't smell bad while it was cooking. When the ham was done the meat was so mushy and it was just disgusting .Now I have no ham for Easter dinner
