“Nice little shop. The owner was working. She was very social and pleasant. They have some unusual gifts as well as regular items. Some remodeling going on but hardly takes away from the ambiance. Definitely worth a visit !”
“A great shop for crystals, and literature,. They also have an eclectic selection of classes always rotating around. Most days I believe they have a tarot card reader available. Don't quote me on this, but everytime I've been there has been one. The prices are fair and a quality selection. Definitely worth a visit.”
“I love a country store!
I stopped into 1829 looking for candle holders. I was shown some wooden holders that weren't quite right. The owner offered to paint them with chalk paint, any color while I waited (it dries fast). I happily shopped around, found cool Halloween decor and candy that I can only find there. The candle holders were a gift. My Mother's birthday, SHE LOVED THE CANDLE HOLDERS.
I've been stopping in to this store for years. While it has changed, it is still a fun place to visit and find cool gifts and decor. I'll be back for the Holiday Preview Sept 30th 2026”

“My visit to The Paper Store in Taunton, MA was truly exceptional. Kelly and the entire team went above and beyond—so helpful with everything we purchased and incredibly kind throughout our entire experience. We even had ears pierced during our visit, and the care and professionalism they showed made it feel effortless and special. This location isn’t my usual go-to, but after this visit, it just might be. Even though it’s a bit of a drive, it’s more than worth it.
