Last weekend my boyfriend purchased some peach new Amsterdam nips for me from this store. When I tasted the alcohol it had definitely gone bad. The taste and smell were both foul. I’ve had this happen to me at a different store years ago (same brand of vodka) so I knew exactly what was going on when I tasted it.
My boyfriend went back to ask for a return and the man at the desk was incredibly rude to him. We’ve been to this store multiple times and my boyfriend had developed somewhat of a rapport with the man who usually works the cash register. The man accused him of lying. Telling him he does not usually get this type of alcohol so my boyfriend must be wrong. Even after explaining the alcohol was for me, the employee doubled down and refused to acknowledge the issue.
We are not usually the type of complain, but anyone who has had alcohol that has gone bad knows it is truly undrinkable.

Any I'd machine in norton sucks and they can't use an ID that clearly real so these places suck do not visit them the people there are too dumb to tell how an ID machine works

I just returned wine that was bad. It cost 17.99. So I presented it to the man at the counter. I then went around for a swap.
One item was 11.99 and the other 6.99.
I told him the cost of each. He corrected me and increased the cost of the lesser to 7.99. I said, no. Its 6.99 as posted, im familiar with the item. He ignored me and charged me 2 bucks.
So not only did I just come in to return turned wine, he had the nerve to over charge me for the swap when it was clearly labeled on the shelf. If I wasn't exhausted and didn't have 3 people behind be in line, I would have had far more to say to this guy. I own a small business. If roles were reversed I would not have charged ANYTHING Extra. Nevermind overcharge. I will not go there again. That is a very poor business practice.

Ladies and gentlemen, people of legal age who purchase alcoholic beverages, if you want to pay 30%-40% higher prices than other liquor stores, this is where you want to spend your money. The owner charges high prices to gorge the summer's concert-going crowd at Great Woods, Tweeter Center, or whatever the name is now, but summer is a short season, and winters are long. The market that occupies the former Roche Bros store looks like it could be doing better. Norton Liquors will suffer the same fate.

Great selection of local craft beers. I'm not a wine expert, so I can't speak on that subject. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Always closing 15 min early I get out of work at 830 and try to stop there before I go home says he's open till 9 but always closed. The one time I made it and he yells at me as I'm leaving someone else comes in and he says nothing... I've been going there since old location and the way he treated me tonight never again...... I hope u read this u asshole

My first time there today, I made a quick stop to pickup something. The person at the register has a bad demeanor. He was constantly on the phone and cursing customers (in Gujarati ) for asking him simple questions. Seems like he was in a rush to close the store and zero interest in doing business. Closed the lottery at 8:30 (30 mins before the store shuts down). I asked him if he was the owner and he nodded yes but I highly doubt he is. If he is good luck doing business with this attitude!
