Tom was absolutely wonderful. We had to rebook a rental car last minute as our original rental cancelled our booking and went through Uber rentals, which then booked us a vehicle through Avis. We flew into Boston-Logan and were unaware of how far apart these two airports are, especially landing at 4pm and having to get from Boston-Logan to Norwood during rush hour. Tom made our trip happen. He was very understanding and accommodating. We needed a very large SUV to fit a mattress since we planned on sleeping in the vehicle for 3/7 nights of our first trip to the North East. He was so kind and understanding. We ended up getting to Avis 45min after they closed due to the heavy traffic we did not expect upon arrival and the distance we had to travel. He went above and beyond for us as he could have easily said we had to come back the next day or rented our vehicle to another customer. He even looked up how much it would cost for the same vehicle at Boston-Logan and saved us $2000 since it was that much more expensive there. We could not be more thankful for Tom and his excellent customer service to go above and beyond for us. We highly recommend Avis to anyone looking for a rental car in Norwood! Thank you so much!

Avis here and Brooklyn biweekly and this is by far the best experience I ever have when renting.

Got charged $125 cleaning fee for some dirt on the floor mat with a really bad customer support experience. Not worth renting from this or other airport locations in the area

Worst rental(tentative) experience ever! I had a confirmed reservation with a pick up time. I went to the location 30 minutes before pick up time. The office was closed and the sign on the door said they will be back at 8 am, next day! I called the next day and was told that they did not have a car for me and they did not have a number to let me know about it. My reservation included a phone number and an email. In addition, I was told they have no idea how I was able to reserve a car because their reservation system was down in the last two days. It seems like they do not know what they are doing over here.
Do yourself a favor and reserve somewhere else where employees are able to track reservations. This place is not reliable at all.

Alex, of the Avis locations - Norwood Airport / Dedham Holiday Inn, is the BEST! Alex delivers top notch customer service, and always accommodates my transportation needs with the most optimal vehicle. Renting a vehicle with Alex is the most enjoyable experience, and I have been doing so for years. Every vehicle is not only safe, but in fantastic condition. You will be doing yourself/your family a favor by renting from Alex at Avis...5 stars hands down!

The worst experience I ever had, first of all I did not get the car which booked online and instead I got an electric car, I drive a lot and electric wasn’t covering enough miles before the next charge and than they old guy sitting over there doesn’t even know what he is doing and even after telling him something he did the opposite of what I wanted and later he started acting that he doesn’t know about it. When you will go there you will figure out from his face that he is not the right guy to rent a car from. Go check another Avis / Budget but not here.

Highway robbery. $100 "daily rental" got a $75 "extra hour" charge for 1 extra hour, so the total bill after taxes and fees was over $215 for 25 hours. I'm sure this was disclosed in advance, but I never read the fine print (rent cars 2-6 times/month) and the customer service person was completely unsympathetic when I complained and could have cared less. I will NOT rent here again!!! Nor from Avis unless that is absolutely the only option.
