Grocery shopping is fine but eating here is a disaster of an experience. Asked the gentleman to make me a salami, ham, and american with mayo and light mustard. You would have thought i asked him a quantum physics question. He proceeds to assemble the worst deli meat sandwich in the history of deli sandwiches. Drenched in mustard because he had to open a new bottle and instead of finding a squeeze top just poured it on. Imagine all of our surprises when it flowed like the rivers of ancient babylon onto my pathetic sandwich. Oh, no ham either. He went 66% on the ingredients. I grabbed a slice of pizza since i knew the sub was wrecked, pizza was decent. Also thought maybe i could at least sit in the seating area and try to relax and enjoy it but their employees take over that area having awkward conversations on speakerphone. Get your groceries and get out because this place is a complete and utter trainwreck.

I live closer to the Walpole Big Y but I always drive the extra 15 minutes to the Norwood store because of the great customer service. I always order a sub from the pizza area and the with the ginger hair is the only one that gets it right. Thank you Big Y!

Beautiful store. Shame it isn’t able to handle the foot traffic and management doesn’t know how to adjust to handle said foot traffic. Love the “I can’t order any more” so it’s not a problem. Please remember Big Y was the last grocery store to show up here.

They had 2 garage like doors open with a positive air flow, kind of cool and weird. Seemed like a waste of money, never mind birds and animals could go in.

My problem with the Norwood big Y is that no matter how many times I go in there the deli always has expired product on the shelves. And not a day or two out. A month even 2 sometimes!

When Betty Joshua and Lisa are working you get the best service!!! They are wonderful!!! They are very helpful!!! They have a wonderful variety of desserts! That are delicious! At a great price! I believe if they had more people like Betty Lisa and Joshua working they would do a lot more business!!!! Then some of the other people that work in the bakery.

I just went to this store to get a sub sandwich and soup deal, but since I don't live in the area, I don't have a membership card. The lady at checkout was rude and said she can't check me out because I don't have a card and no one at customer service so I can't apply for one. What!? I had to insist that she swipe a store card, otherwise she wasn't going to let me check out! Come on, what age are we in that this store is requiring people to get a membership card, otherwise no sale? Terrible customer service!

As I mentioned earlier, the store was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The sales plus my membership savings were great. I've been very broke lately, so I'm on a tight budget. I managed to grab what I needed and extra because of the deals and savings. I am very thankful and will most definitely come back again, I live in Dedham, so this is worth the trip for the best for my buck.

I am a regular at the Big Y deli and I am always happy to see Isabelle behind the counter. She is the sweetest thing and an absolute delight! I get my usual mortadella, buffalo chicken, and muenster order and Isabelle has served me enough times to remember it. I would push others to go to this deli just for her customer service.
