Extremely happy with how my move with Deon’s went! They were super efficient even with 2 pickup stops and took great care with my items. The pricing was very transparent and I knew exactly what to expect based on the timing. They checked multiple times to make sure I was happy with how everything went and both men were very pleasant. The only thing that caught me off guard was upon booking when I received a text message request for a deposit which hadn’t been discussed before hand. I had no problem providing a deposit but I would have liked to been informed before hand that I’d be receiving that notification because I was a bit concerned it was spam. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

This is the fourth time that I've used Deon's. Have done multiple moves around Boston and a big one to the Cape. They are the best movers I've worked with. They are prompt, extremely efficient, and cost effective. Deon maintains regular communications throughout the process. I will continue to use them exclusively for any future moves.

Update: They claim it was reasonable time for their guys when we actually moved almost everything out of the apartment for them, having everything ready for them on the hallway. I felt bad for the one guy that did most of the work. But I guess because he didn’t speak English he just does his thing. I wish the one guy got all the money.This is my second time using the company. In 2023 the move was fantastic and they were also different guys. This time they came and actually started the time even before they parked properly to come check out the apartment as that’s the time I see on the receipt. Anyways I was wondering why one guy was working. I went downstairs with some stuff for the car and saw that one guy was taking to a lady. I said nothing and said to my husband like I don’t know if 2 guys mean 1 guys works or what. Anyways I made another trip downstairs he was still talking. Apparently a lady hit the truck and he had to deal with it. So I said given that u are dealing with this on my time how does that work? He never really cared and focusing on the truck then said yes he is working and came up shortly to start helping the other guy. Travel time was set for $199.00 for 2 hours. However they charge an additional travel time to get to the other apartment and I guarantee that was totally different from last year. So we had to pay an additional $260 just for them to drop my items at the other place. So they said oh it’s 6 hours when it was only 5 hours labor time. Be upfront and clear about your prices!

Our move was on Feb 15th, '24. A single bedroom consisting of a Queen bed, headboard, 34" TV plus a computer desk, clothing and vacuum cleaner.Deon's movers were very careful to wrap all furniture in secured blankets. The move, while only 2 miles was completed in 3-1/2 hours. The movers were excellent at both locations. Not one item was scratched or damaged. I highly recommend Deon's moving to any one making a move in greater Boston. The cost was reasonable considering the logistics and time required to deliver our belongings to the apartment in downtown Norwood.

These guys saved my butt!I bought a fridge online (mistake already) and they outsourced their "white glove delivery and installation" to YG logistics. They refused to even try taking the doors off to move things and what do ya know? That was all that needed to be done. Also, don't worry guys, I was able to turn the water back on last night!!!!! What a cluster*&#$. Thanks so much.
