UPDATE:My sister did not have a good experience with the saleswoman there who did not follow through on what she promised. However, Chris, the Sales Manager, turned things around and even bought back the van.I have a lot of respect for Chris...he is very nice and is true to his word. Appreciate everything he did to help my sister!!!. Glad to know that the person running that dealership is competent and kind. Thanks a million Chris!!**************************Original review: Would not recommend. Terrible problems with the van and no solutions. Follow through is awful.

BUYER BEWARE - [ ] Purchased a used van from this company. After 13 months the transmission is no good. Mobility works refuses to help or even call me back. Go and check out all the complaints at the BBB. There are plenty of other companies out there. I would recommend NOT doing business with this company - [ ]

On September 16th, I traded in my old car and bought a new one at the dealership right next door to Mobility. I asked the salesman at the dealership if I could use my old car while I waited for my hand controls to be installed. I thought it would take a day or 2, like my last hand control install 10 years ago. When he asked me how long it would be, I called Mobility and spoke with Michael. I said, "I'm right next door at Boch and just bought a car, how soon can I get push right angle hand controls installed, and how much will it cost?”

I said, "I'm right next door at Boch and just bought a car, how soon can I get push right angle hand controls installed, and how much will it cost?”He asked me what type and year of car, I told him, and he said he'd call me back. When he called back, he said, "it will be about a week or week and a half, it's $1,800, and I need $900 upfront".I was disappointed, knowing that the dealership wanted to finish the transaction soon, so I asked why it would take so long. Michael said he would have to order the controls from Canada. I then asked him if I could pay extra to overnight the parts. He said no, that wasn’t an option and said most of the time the parts arrive from Canada within a week. After the call from Michael, I told the salesman at the dealership it might be a week to a week and a half until I could bring in my old car. He had to ask his manager, but in the end, they OK’d it. Exactly a week later, on the 23rd, Michael called and told me the controls came in. “Great,” I say, “so I'll see you tomorrow morning?”“Oh no,” he says, “now we have to schedule your appointment, and I can get you in on October 9th.” Of course, I was disappointed and angry. I told him, "you said a week or a week and a half.” He didn’t apologize or give any reasonable explanation, he just kept repeating, “I said a week or so for delivery.” I reminded him that when we first spoke, I had asked for an install, NOT delivery time. After arguing back and forth, Michael finally consulted with the GM and told me he could get me an appointment on October 2nd. Because the process was dragged out and I had promised the dealership on September 16th that I would bring in my old car after a week and a half at the latest, I had to ask a friend to drive with me to Norwood (an hour drive), give my car to the dealership, have my friend drive my new car to my house, and let it sit until October 2nd. After leaving my old car at the dealership, I had no car for 9 days. After being car-less for 9 days, and after ordering some (risky/dangerous) portable hand controls on the internet, I drove back to Mobility. The installation went well, and everyone there was kind and friendly. As I was driving home from Norwood, I noticed there wasn't a horn button on the control. Over the course of the 7 hand control installations I’ve gotten since 1983, every one of my previous controls had a horn button. After a week or so, I called Michael and asked if there was a horn option available. He had to check, then he called me back and said, “Yes, there is, it’s $650, and we have one in stock.”I was frustrated at his response, and I asked, "Why didn't you ask me if I wanted a horn to begin with?" He told me, "You should have asked for one." I called him a few choice names and hung up out of anger. In my defense, I've been driving with hand controls since 1983, and they have always come standard with a horn button, every time. After such a horrible experience dealing with Michael, I’ll save my $650 and drive Automotive Innovations in Bridgwater MA, where I should have gone in the first place. The only reason I called Mobility was that they were so close to the dealership. Had I known the headache, the deceitful back and forth, and the terrible communication that would come with working with Michael, I never would have done the install through him. My mistake was being too lazy to drive to Bridgewater at the outset. Jim at Automotive Innovations is a lot more honest and knowledgeable.

This is a great company serving a great mission, they have accommodated my ever need and I would highly recommend their rental program to anyone in need of transporting a loved one for a few days. They have really upped my father's quality of life, and restored our freedom to take day trips here and there. Thank you.

The handicapped accessible van that a rented to attend my nieces wedding was wonderful. They removed the front to see it, passenger side and I was able to be seated in my wheelchair and locked down.

We went to Boston for a wedding in between Christmas and NYE. Our son is in a wheel chair and we needed to have an accessible van for his getting around. The whole process couldn't have been easier! One phone call and some info on my end, and we saved the date! Once the day of travel came, I was a bit nervous as to how we would find the vehicle since we've never been to Boston and didn't know our way around at all! They sent us a text with a picture of where they parked the vehicle with clear instructions on where they parked it. Actually we got 3 pictures, so I quickly relaxed knowing we would find it with ease and we did! There was snow on the ground so unfortunately when we returned the van, it was filthy... unlike when we first got it ... it was sparkling clean - like new! Great experience!

Was working with this company to purchase a Surburban for my disable son to be able to transport him and to be able to enjoy the summer with some trips. I gave them a deposit for the vehicle and it is now 2 months later and I have not heard a thing, summer is almost over. My emails and phone calls go unanswered. What they did is they sold the van behind my back and never had the decency to tell me or return my deposit. There is no excuse for this treatment. Would never recommend them. No compassion. People make mistakes and errors occur in life, but to ignore someone is pure ignorance.
