I’m very happy with the service that I received at the bank. The tellers are very knowledgeable and they worked swiftly to complete the task and customer service is a plus.

Closed account. I had 2 conversations with 2 separate people at this bank. Asked the process to make a large purchase using my debit. ie do I call just prior to to life any max amt to charge, let them know ahead of time? Well each conversation I was told I had to tell them exactly what purchase was for and then and only then it would’ve brought to the manager and the manager would let me know if my purchase was going to be cleared.Mind you, this is money is in my own account. It is not a loan. i had to clarify each time I called that what they are saying is- it was up to the manager to give permission to use my money from my account? Each time I was told yes. A firm yes. I told them I would be removing my money as no one will have to give me permission to use myOwn money.After the second call, within 5mins the manager called to apologize for the calls as she overheard them and acknowledged they were unprofessional and not ok. I said it was too late and took my money out a few days later. I find it sad that either staff isn’t trained properly or they don’t care. I think probably both.

I have always found the workers at this bank to be caring and professional, and I want to applaud the workers for how they handled a situation today. There was another customer in the lobby, and he was very rude to the workers. He was going to have to wait a few days until a hold was lifted on his check. The workers did a great job de-escalating the situation because I know I would have lost it.

In my family, we all have accounts at Norwood Bank. The people on their staff have always been friendly, responsive, competent, courteous and service oriented.The organization as a whole also does a great deal in support of the broader community.It is always easy to find an actual person to meet in person or to speak by phone. I always get the sense that people there know what they are doing and they are glad to be helpful.I highly recommend Norwood Bank and have been a loyal customer for 25 years or so.

They charge 10% on the change machine even you have a bank account with them. Simply speechless. Lol By the way, they don’t take rolled coins, you have to use the machine.

I’ll start off by saying they are a great bank. But I’m rating them two stars because they now close at 3 I’m not sure how that stops the spread of covid! So if you actually work for a living good luck ever getting in there also they won’t even let you in the building on Saturday's so once again if your work for a living, good luck ever getting in person help. Like I said on paper Norwood bank is a great bank but if you actually need in person help? You better take the day off work or find a different bank.

Norwood Bank is the BEST. Have had an account there since 1978. Great customer service and awesome free pictures with Santa every December.
