“We were in town for the weekend from upstate NY and wanted to do a little thrifting. We ended up spending two hours in this store. There was so much stuff. Everything is well organized, there were friendly employees everywhere, working on keeping the store well put together. I saw a lot of negative reviews about the prices. Some things, like housewares and books were very reasonable. Clothes are slightly pricey but the condition of the clothing was definitely taken into consideration when pricing. Also you have to keep in mind that absolutely everything is going up in price. We bought a lot of clothes and we're happy with what we paid for them. Name brand, good quality things are still considerably cheaper than buying them brand new and much better quality than purchasing from fast fashion places.”

“Dorchester Art Project has been serving the community for years. This is the best place for local artists! Rent their theater out for cool underground music shows or check out their awesome studio spaces Make sure to go to a gallery show or see a local band play and support local artists!”

“Amazing place with a ton of heart, especially the staff. The Thrift Shop of Boston supports The Home for Little Wanderers, which provides a range of services for children in dire living/economic situations. Great cause and business to support :)”

“CASH ONLY. Crowded and tight, the dust always makes my throat dry, but the prices are good & low and I *always* find something unique. Clothing and housewares = good selection. Appliances/lamps/suitcases/etc = not so much. Free parking & there’s an ATM in the lot. Sales rotate day to day.”

“Hands down the best consignment store I’ve visited. We bought tons of Tiffany & Waterford crystal glassware in great condition and unbeatable price. Rachael is amazingly patient, careful, and helpful. We left a little crystal turtle behind, but Rachael is in touch with us even at after business hours. Overall, a super happy experience!”

“I was at their pop-up at the Sam Adams Brewery and their prices can’t be beat! The staff are so kind and, I mean, $3 and $5 cassettes? $6 shirts and $12 jeans??? Their selection is amazing and you’ll always find something that piques your interest.”

“very nice staff, great selection with an awesome men’s sweater section! everyone saying it was dirty or a bad thrift store was either in a bad mood or that was their first ever thrift store lol! thrift stores aren’t known for being squeaky clean!”

“Packed with so much stuff, found some great items here, feels cramped but it’s worth it to scour the aisles.Unlike most thrifts, the sale colors are easy to find and plentiful, it’s worth it to shop the sales and you’ll find some gems.Clothes here are NOT organized by size, and quite frankly even style. There’s tops, pants, and pajamas and dresses. You need to give yourself 1-2 hours to really get a good search of the place.Home goods are pretty lacking, this isn’t the place to come shopping for a new apartment.”

“This place was the most amazing Goodwill I've ever been to it was clean it was organized everything was color coded the only thing I didn't like is the racks weren't divided into sizes and the staff wasn't very friendly but besides that it's a great place to find some really cool good second hand clothing”
