Terrible experience. I rented a pickup and utility trailer with the intent of putting 200+ plus miles on it. I returned and when I went inside to drop off the keys the older woman took them and said "oh you have a trailer, go and drop the trailer in an open spot and bring the truck around." She then asked a coworker, who was checking in a box truck if I should drop the trailer and he just shrugged his shoulders. So she told me again to drop the trailer. I said sure and proceeded to do so, but my immediate thought was, no this is your job not mine, what if I damage something on the property now, this is my fault. The trailer was already on the truck when I went to originally leave; I'm sure proper protocol is to return the truck and trailer the same was as it was given to the customer. The truck return and trailer drop needs to be handled by a Uhaul rep, not the customer. Its just plain lazy.I dropped the trailer as I was told, and brought the truck around. I went inside and told the guy at the counter I was returning a truck and trailer, but made sure to tell him I was told to drop the trailer in the lot as I did not want to be accused of not returning the trailer. I then go with this current Uhaul rep to the trailer lot and point out which trailer was in question. He stated he would take care of the rest and send me an email with my receipt.This entire experience will be visible on camera at 2:30pm 10/28, as when I first showed up to pick up the rental at 9:30am I was watching the security footage real of the entire place for 15 minutes while I waited to be helpedIt is now 22 hours later, I have not received a final receipt, but I however have three pending Uhaul charges on my bank account for the full amount of the rental, with no explanations if there is anything wrong. I could see maybe a brief hold on the acct for the original expected rental and then the final bill being taken out as pending as well, but I'm not sure why its three charges and now have over $600 taken out of my account. I'm hoping this gets resolved on monday, but to rate the overall experience, 1 star is far too much. I would not recommend this Uhaul location to my worst enemy

How do you give zero stars ? Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Even though this location is supposed to be open until 5pm on Sundays, the employees figure that 4:40 is close enough to quitting time. In fact, they were shutting lights off at 4:40. I went outside to ask an employee about the propane filling station. He said that it closes at 4:30. This is all while he is cleaning out his personal vehicle in the parking lot. Did not care to assist me one bit. Was he still getting paid while doing personal stuff ? BTW.. I tried calling this location 3x on Sunday to ask questions, and each time, the call was routed to a call center because nobody wanted to answer the phone here.

George Rhodes from Uhaul keeps sending me late notices for a bill that does not exist. I moved out over a month ago and do not owe any money according to my online account. Yet he keeps sending me demand letters by email and in the mail.

We have rented several times from the Norwood location. The people are great and they work hard to deliver a quality product. If there are any issues, they have resolved them quickly. We have rented from other locations where the staff was not nearly as nice or professional.

If you are using the Norwood,MA location, do not go in to desk reception area for help.When you return your truck only return your truck online or through your app!! Every time we rent from Norwood they don’t check us out at the time we bring truck back and charge they us an extra day for rental charge and insurance. Extremely frustrating because then we have to call the main office and explain to them what happened to get a refund based on Norwoods lack of diligence. This has happened to us several times in our past rentals. Thank goodness the central office is on top of helping their customers with issues such as this.

My partner and I were tackling the dreaded September 1st Boston move. We had a truck scheduled for 8 a.m. on Sept. 1 at the Route 1 Norwood location. The night before, I received an email that the truck and location had changed to a location further away at a much later time. U-Haul could do nothing on the phone at that point, so we decided to go to the Norwood location at 7 a.m. sharp. The general manager, George, listened to our problem and was able to hook us up with the truck we needed at the right time. I know we got lucky, but I can't thank him enough! Will definitely be going back for our next move!

There was garbage in the truck, but the guy running the place seemed to want nothing to do with me (I didn't see any other customers there so I don't know if he was like this with other customers)I had no idea there was a way to request an extension on the app or that they'd almost double the price if I was late, nor was I told how to open and close the back door where all the furniture is stored, not told the clearance, or how to drive the dang thing (yeah, I get it "key, gas, vroom vroom" but each vehicle has intricacies and quirks, think of Subarus that won't give you your keys if the steering wheel is too much to one side, like I didn't know the brakes would sound like a full-on car crash, a quick "just so you aren't the surprised, the brakes are loud" or something. I was driving solo, I had no idea if what I was hearing was normal truck noises or not. It was a lot of anxiety.The dashboard lights had an icon of a trailer, but the car said to refer to my contract for those symbols, but that had been sent to my email (which I didn't realize until later) and if I had then I probably would not have had enough phone battery for the stupidly long return process, I guess they assume everyone has a smart phone with a decent camera and unlimited data and it always has enough battery to spend 20 minutes taking photos of the truck.If there was anyway to lock the truck (I can only assume there is, but couldn't figure it out), I wasn't given any advice on how to use the equipment so it was a waste to even rent it.Who do they think are renting these truck? Professional truck drivers?I drive a sedan, this was my first time driving a truck. I don't need to be sat down, but some basic advice would've been helpful.I wasted a bunch of time reading all the signs on the truck and googling advice since I had assumed when I went to rent it they would give me some advice since I assumed they didn't want people destroying their equipment by not knowing how to use it safely.I wasn't told how to return the truck or ANYTHING.And the whole stupid thing ended up costing waaaaay more than quoted. The "starting at" price is incredibly deceitful. Starting at $20, but expect to pay over $200 for less than half a day with less than 60 miles total.

The people who work at UHAUL Norwood, Massachusetts are wonderful, helpful, and professional.Wonderful to be able to pick up clean van in good condition and have the paperwork filled out efficiently.Will definitely rent again! Check in and out process works well.Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No one came to help me in a 20ft truck when it was pouring rain. Zero customer service. At least it was not busy and the app worked well. Attendant was just sitting inside on his phone.

Worst location ever - rude, ignorant, racist, said we returned trailer an hour late but we had a 24 hour rental that was returned less than 12 hours later. Asked for 3 co-signers never heard of that in my life worst experience ever.
