UNRELIABLE service center. I've been to this dealership for many years, and just this year alone, I had multiple issues. Once, I did an oil change, and my oil was low after driving 1000 miles. I had to top it off myself. Next time, I went in to replace the thermostat housing, and I got a red alert saying my coolant was low after I drove 2 miles. Had to turn around and come back to the dealership. Now, my inspection got rejected and replaced the windshield washer pump, and it is not even working after paying $600. Ridiculous. SOO UNRELIABLE. Now I have to make another appointment and cancel work and get it looked at again. Horrible service. Avoid getting any work done here. There's much better places to go to.

I dropped my car off at 8am for a diagnostic. Called at 2:30pm for an update. In which wasn’t available. I was told I’d be called back in 20 mins. An hour went by so called again. Was told my car has not been looked at yet but they are bringing it down now. Informed the gentleman I spoke with that I would be there at 5pm I arrived at 5:45 and my car was not ready. Waited 20 mins for it to be driven up. The person I spoke with throughout the day was nice and helped as best as he could. I could tell he was trying his best to have my car ready in a timely fashion however seems the technicians didn’t care that much. It doesn’t sit well with me that I dropped my car off at 8am and even after closing my car still wasn’t ready for something as simple as a diagnostic.

I was in the market for a new GTI and Nucar VW had one on their lot. I spoke with a sales representative and took it for a drive and during the drive I was encouraged to really accelerate multiple times which I did not want to do. After my test drive I was informed that there was a $4,000 fee not advertised due to market demand. I continued to speak with the very aggressive sales rep and was informed they would waive the market demand fee only if I put a down payment on the vehicle, after multiple times saying I did not want to out a refundable deposit on the car if I finally caved. Later on when I went to request my refund as I purchased at another dealer I was told to text message my credit card info to process the return. I declined and went to the dealership where I was told to wait for over 30 minutes to process a simple return. I was told my return wad be processed and a check sent to me which is not industry standard when processing credit card returns. I would not recommend this dealership.

James was really great. I'm happy with the deal we arrived at, but more than that he was very personable and made me comfortable throughout the process. He also followed up with me on the weekend to ensure that everything was going well. A+!

TAKE A PIC OF ODOMETER BEFORE YOU LEAVE.Things were great, until they weren't. No pressure sales - easy to make the deal.After I put the deposit on my car, the car was serviced/certified the following day. When I picked it up at the end of the week I noticed the car had at least 500+ miles driven on it since I put my deposit. I questioned the finance manager as I was signing the paperwork and saw the mileage go up, he said, "you must be mistaken." I than asked the salesman why the car was driven so much, he told me the same thing - "it didn't happen, and I remembered the mileage wrong."I got the Volkswagen phone app, and sure enough, my car was driven 561 miles after I put the deposit - I put the deposit with 35,522 miles and picked it up Friday with 36,081 miles.I called the manager a week ago today, and he was baffled by this, never apologized and told me he'd look into it and get back to me. I am still waiting for a return call. My car has a weird odor I cannot get rid of since the test drive. Very disappointed no one has ever contacted me back without an explanation or apology. There probably is no explanation as no one has any idea who would have taken the car or why.

The service team was professional, efficient, friendly and all around wonderful from start to finish!! Cassidy made booking the service appointment a breeze. Manny was very communicative throughout the appointment. Danielle & the technician made sure everything was safe and my car returned to me fresh & ready to roll!I purchased my car from another VW dealer in Braintree, that was horrible, Quirk VW. They often gave me misinformation, long wait times & scattered service availability. The team was comfortable selling me the car but never confident about helping with issues or questions. The final straw was having to purchase new tires & alignment because they didnt align my tires when they fixed the car after an accident. I will only go to Nucar for service and any future auto needs.

Great place to buy a new car. No high pressure to buy a car. Sales consultant James Christoford was extremely professional, courteous, helpful. Super friendly and helpful staff. Pit crew is efficient and offer knowledgeable feedback regarding the urgency of whether a service needs to be done right away or can wait. Tracking app is terrific- let me know status of service and was accompanied by personal follow up by the service team! Great service- highly recommend them!

I was given and signed purchase and financing paperwork for the wrong car and had to come back to do it all over again. When I did pick the car up, it didn’t have an inspection sticker because of a broken license plate light module. This should have been communicated before I took the time to come down and pick up the car. I was told this would take two days, but this lasted a week. There was zero proactive communication and I needed to chase for updates. As I was leaving to pick the car up, I was called and informed that another part was broken, which delayed the repair. Again, I needed to follow up on my own with zero proactive communication from the dealership. When the second part was replaced, I was told that a faulty ball joint was found, incurring further delays. These issues were not only unacceptable, but ran right up to the date my family and I were leaving for a two week road trip, which was the reason for purchasing this car. While Service had the car, I reported a vibration noise while driving, and I was told this was not detected. This is an issue that is hard to miss and still exists. Suffice it to say that I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with my experience, which included poor communication, wasting my time, and lack of confidence in a “Certified Pre-Owned” vehicle. One positive thing to note was my experience with Danielle, the Service Manager. She was pleasant and very helpful when I finally got to speak with her. I tried to contact the General Manager several times and I was left on hold for long periods of time before getting voice mail. At that point I was too angry to leave a message. My expectation would be that the General Manager contact me and set this right.

My low tire light came on while driving and I brought it to the dealership to have it checked out. Service advisor Kassidy was able to get me right in to have it look at. Turns out one tire pressure was lower than my others causing the light to come on, they set my tire pressure and reset my low tire light for me. Great experience and definitely would go back there.

PSA for anyone who has had work done at Nucar VW service center in the last two months or is planning in the future. Four days after standard service the brakes in my VW Golf failed (completely) - luckily I was driving on an empty road at the time and didn't hit anyone. After getting my car towed to another service shop we found a wrench that had been left in after changing the brake fluid.I took the vehicle back to let the service department know. As you can expect at the time I was told this "never should have happened" and the shop would do everything they could to "make this right" including refund on the service. Two months later nothing but a run around and empty promises. Please do yourself a favor if you recently had work done here - have someone independent check it out; they clearly have low standards / no shame in leaving a car in a state that could have killed my entire family.

I am completely satisfied with the service at Nucar VW of Norwood. I am very grateful to manager Mike and financier Valentin. I came to them almost at the end of the working day, but despite this I received a full range of services, the guys were late for almost two hours after closing! They also gave me a discount on a new car and they took the old one at a good price for me! Thank you so much guys!!! You are doing an excellent job! I will definitely recommend you to my friends!!!
