Try the Nepalese Thali platter here, you won’t be disappointed!

I wanted to enjoy this restaurant's food, but I ended up disliking it. The chicken was too tough, and the vegetable pakoras were all burnt. In the end, we just had bananas for dinner.

THE BEST LOCAL AUTHENTIC INDIAN RESTAURANT HANDS DOWN! My husband and I love Indian food from London to both coasts. We were floored when we casually sat down and feasted on the owners well crafted Indian delectable delights! Every meal we ordered, including the lassi, was packed with bursting flavors that teased my taste buds at its height. All in little Oak Bluffs. Who knew? Please, if you haven’t tried this place, make an effort. You will not regret it. The naan was homemade in his tandoor oven. He trained in India and it shows or rather it tastes like it. Where are the Michelin scouts when you need them! They will be thrilled to have anything the restaurant offers. Oh, the corn, to die for! The palak paneer, so smooth and cheesy. We’re in heaven. Thank you for this new addition on our quiet island. We can’t come back soon enough.

Background: I LOVE Indian food. I have eaten it from various spots all over the country, most of them very good to perfect. This is not one of those locations.Order: Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, SamosasChicken Tikka Masala: essentially tomato soup with chunks of chicken in it. No spice whatsoever. The chicken was overcooked and dry. And even if the sauce wasn't even good if you tried to imagine it as tomato soup instead of Indian food. 3/10Garlic Naan: it appears to be a flat bread with a green herb just sprinked on top. Most authentic Indian restaurants have actually pieces of Garlic cooked into or onto their Naan. This one had no garlic flavor at all. 2/10Samoas: the best part of the order, but don't interpret that as them being good. Lacking in crunch and in flavor. It's kind of hard to make something that is deep fried and has potato in it taste bad, so these were okay. The chutney included with them might have helped the flavor, but I didn't receive any with my order. 4/10

Bomb(bay) food, great drinks, even better service! The owner personally served us and it was amazing! Tandoori shrimp was incredible and I would easily come back for that and the garlic nann!! SO GOOD

If it weren't Thursday or Monday night, this review would be different. Why?Because their standard menu has an order of wings in your choice of flavor at $17. Seventeen. Dollars. For wings! But on said evenings from 6-10p, same wings are 25¢ a piece, minimum order of 8, two flavors max per order.Lemme break this down: $17 for a typical order of wings, which, let's assume, may be at most, ten wings. This equates to $1.70 per wing, and that's AT MOST. I, on the other hand, moseyed in on a Thursday night, ordered 8 tandoori style, 8 sweet chili style, and enjoyed the HELL-O out of them for a paltry $4. SIXTEEN WINGS. FOUR DOLLARS.Plus, every night, they have Montucky Cold Snack tall boys for $2 every day. This place would be perfect if it weren't for the fact that I order my 16 wings ($4) and three Cold Snacks ($6) and was presented with a non-detailed bill for $15. Uh server bro, not cool. I still tipped out the wazoo because the whole shebang with a 66% gratuity still rang in less than my lobster roll at Noman's but still. Be real, yo.I loved this place so much, the only pictures I took during my stay on the island this summer were hugging the promo signs. But act fast: they're trying to sell the building. Love you Bombay.

We order the food to go and the taste was not really good.Tikka masala was just tomato puree, very sour in taste, minimal spices.. We had ordered Dal Makhni, what we got was just plain boiled dal(very less spices). Naan was ok. With the take out they missed on the rice(that is typically always included when you order a curry/dal). They definitely need to improve on the quality and taste.

Great food and service. We were surprised to find out it was wing night upon arrival. Wings were 25 cents a piece and delicious. We tried the mango habanero and gold bbq. Both were great and came out very quickly. We also ordered the chicken tikka masala and saag paneer which was equally great. And the garlic naan was incredibly fluffy and flavorful.

Came here one summer night with friends after a movie ... it was wonderful! The food was incredibly tasty (we are all vegetarians) and the drinks were excellent, especially for the prices, which were significantly lower than many Vineyard spots. The atmosphere was relaxed with a Sox game playing over the bar. The owner came by to say hello -- he was friendly and welcoming. Overall, a fabulous experience! Go before the word gets out!!Vegetarian options: Great veggie options ... very flavorful.

My husband and I and our two children went to this restaurant last Friday evening, and we had an amazing time!! My family and I are VERY big on “the customer experience”, and this was like no other!! The manager, Roger, and the bar tender, Mike, was incredible!! The food was cooked with love!! EVERYTHING WAS NEXT LEVEL DELICIOUS!!!! The atmosphere was very inviting and personable! They made us feel like we were VIPs all night long. It was like nothing we have ever experienced! We HIGHLY recommend!!!Thank you Roger & Mike!!!

Bombay is the perfect example of the disastrous effects of the cultural appropriation of food. By far the worst food I’ve eaten and an insult to the Indian community and patrons expecting a decent Indian-American meal served with proper China and cutlery. Merely another privileged man benefiting through financial gain, obviously without any real knowledge, experience and appreciation of Indian and Indian American culture and cuisine, that I hope will close just as fast as it opened.

This restaurant should not call advertise itself as an Indian restaurant. We ordered 3 items and 2 of them were straight up not even Indian food. FOODStreet Corn - tasted like a bland version of Mexican street corn minus the cotija cheese. Indian street corn is lime with cayenne and salt rubbed on lightly charred corn on the cob. The char was there but then they poured cream or something on the corn and maybe sprinkled it with paprika. It was bland at best, if not off-putting.Tandoori wings - they gave us naked chicken wings. If I ordered Buffalo wings with no sauce from a bar, this would've been okay. To call this tandoori when they did nothing to even flavor the chicken was actually offensive.Daal - this was actually daal (lentils). It wasn't good, but at least it was daal. mediocre.Rice - did not taste like Basmati rice and was dry, like it had been left out with no lid or something.SERVICEWe ordered out so I can't say much but I can relay the conversation I had on the phone. They did not have many items from the menu on the web site so I asked a few questions about what they did have. For instance I asked what kind of chicken was on their chicken rice bowl. They gentleman told me "just chicken." I asked how it was prepared or made. "Just regular." It was like pulling teeth. I asked if there's a sauce. He says "No, it's just like regular chicken!" I assume he thinks the other chicken options on his menu are weird or odd since they aren't "regular chicken" but regardless, I gathered it was some sort of dry chicken and passed. The worst part was when I tried to order daal makhani. Once again, they apparently didn't have it anymore. Okay, that's fine. However, in the same breath as saying "we don't have daal makhani (lentils dish - thick soup) the guy on the phone says,"but aloo gobhi (potatoes and cauliflower-dry dish) is the same thing so we'll give you that." I thought I misheard him because that is such an insane thing to say but after checking multiple times, I knew I had heard him correctly. I tried to tell him "but those are different dishes." Then he got frustrated and started to INSIST the dishes were very similar. I finally said "Look, I'm Indian and so I know you're not telling me the truth." He just went silent. He later said they have a side daal so I asked him what kind and he says "what do you mean what kind?" I explained there are a lot of different kinds. Could he at least tell me the color so I could figure it out? Nope, he had no idea and obviously no inkling to ask anyone else.I finally gave up and went to the restaurant to order. The manager was sympathetic and seemed like a nice guy. Unfortunately, the food was bad.I didn't see any Indian people running the place, which I would normally never care about or notice, but I think it's pretty offensive to open an Indian restaurant and not even attempt to make sure you serve people Indian food. If you're going to take a peoples' culture and cuisine the least you can do is show some respect and try to do it right.AMBIANCEAll I know is they hung lanterns outside the place that I have never seen in India, at an Indian restaurant, or at any Indian person's home. I think that makes it an an odd choice for an Indian restaurant.

Great unique spot on the vineyard! Drinks were frosty and the bartender was cool! You can only eat fried clams and lobster so much. Bombay is nice change up. Nice TV's to watch the game as well
