My wife and I did a walk-in 1 day rental. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. Cars in Martha's Vineyard are expensive, but this location was the least expensive. Cost aside, the young lady Alex who helped us out was cheerful, kind and very helpful. She helped improved an already great vacation day.The fact that Alex and her colleagues are nice to tourists knowing they will likely never see the same people again says a lot about them as individuals and the office as a whole.

Very friendly staff. Quick check in and check out. The car was great. I booked for a small car, but received an suv for no extra charge. They also let me use their bathroom, which was in rough shape haha but I was just grateful to be able to use it. Thanks guys.

Car rental for the day, good experience. Mystery car rental slightly cheaper, got a Subaru ascent initially told we were getting a minivan but glad we didn’t. We initially forgot to fill gas and we’re running late but they were nice enough to let us do that. Then I had the biggest scare and left my wallet behind. They were again very helpful and flexible in letting me retrieve it. Thank you!!!

Did the mystery car rental for a day to drive to Island Alpacas, Vineyard Haven, and Aquinnah. We were given a brand new Tesla Model 3 dual motor, so it made the drive all the more fun! The staff were friendly and prompt. One thing to note: they gave us the Model 3 with just over 110 miles of range which quickly dwindled due to the A/C usage. There is a charger at the gas station nearby in OB, but it's a trickle charge and we couldn't find anyone that knew who was in charge of the charge station. We ended up returning the car to the airport with a couple dozen miles, so it worked out. But if we wanted to keep driving it would have been difficult.

My car was ready promptly. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make us happy. The cars they have there are awesome- Tesla’s, BMW, Corvette’s. Will definitely be using them again!!

I walked right in and met the nicest person Octavian. He was super easy to talk to and was able to explain everything that the rental included. He went over prices and had a car available for me that day. He went above and beyond to provide excellent services. He got me such a great deal on the day I docked with my cruise ship. I was able to travel with my wife in a wonderful convertible around the whole island for the day. GO SEE OCTAVIAN!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Octavian and Mike at the Budget Rental Car in Oaks Bluff. On 5-31-23 we were on a tour bus but we needed to catch a ferry back to Woods Hole. Unfortunately, my fiancé’s phone lost charge. Her phone had our passes to get back to Woods Hole. They were very helpful as to get our phone charged and went out of their way. So thankful for those guys. Great job and customer service!

My wife & I had planned to spend two days on the Island to ride bikes. When the forecast predicted that our second day would be a rainy one we decided to rent a car instead of just going home. Budget was right there in Oak Bluffs and we set up the rental online. When we picked up the car we found the staff to be very friendly and they made pickup a breeze. Dropping off the car was even easier! We love to deal with happy, friendly and helpful people, they check off every box! - Not to mention a nice clean car at a reasonable rate, they have that, too.

Great experience up until the very end. They asked us in the beginning to bring the car back with a full tank of gas. We filled it all the way at the closest gas station, and returned the car. They asked us if we filled it, we said yes, and they said we were all set. A few minutes after we walked away, they added an $18 charge for not filling the gas. We went back to see why. It’s not a lot of money, but it’s the principle. They said it wasn’t full and that they charged us for every mile we drove on our one day trip, which wasn’t a ton, but I’d imagine would be for anyone who planned on renting from them for multiple days, or traveling a lot. My concern is that they probably do this to every single customer, so for that reason, I would not recommend them unless you’re okay with that. Staff were very friendly, car was clean and in good condition.

Reserved a small vehicle on the Uber app and the man upgraded me to a brand new Tesla Model S for only $50, which was incredible! Very easy check in and return process.

These guys saved my butt in a BIG way. TO THE OWNER: your employees are fantastic and I hope you pay them well. Keep them, they’re an asset.I came to the Vineyard for work and had to rent a car. Last min, no reservation. The process was very easy. Car rentals are expensive there (for obvious reasons), but they made the process very quick and easy.I was in a rush dropping the car off … and left my MacBook in the trunk of the rental; a laptop with private health info. I was beside myself!Called in a panic and an employee (Katy?) talked me off the ledge, assured me she would get it and they’d overnight it to me.They shipped it the next day: called me when it was in the mail, texted the tracking #, and emailed details. Super efficient & mindful of how freaked out I was. One day later FedEx delivers my laptop.THANK YOU GUYS!! This wasn’t your fault, my d*** move. But you fixed it anyways.

Don't go here if you prefer to deal with employees who aren't rude and yell at people. Never have I ever attempted to do business with a company so entitled that they flat out said they didn't need my business. I'm glad they are doing well, but I will never use, or attempt to use, budget rental again.

The folks here were incredible! A last minute change in plans had me searching for a rental car. I saw that this location was not only super close to the ferry, but cheaper than other car rental places. I took advantage of the "we pick your car" deal, since I didn't really care, as long as I wasn't driving a beater. They gave me a brand new Mustang convertible! It was a really fun car! The service was fast and friendly. The car was impeccably clean. The rates were very competitive. I will likely rent from here again soon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
