Our food was served nice and hot. The lobster was fresh and tasty. Our server gave me a taste of the draft beer before I ordered it. Excellent service.

We came in and I immediately fell in love with the menu. We had baked stuffed quahogs and clam strips. Both were exceptional. Beer and wine only but that is fine as the owner Petey had a great selection of brews and wine to pick from. A must visit any time we come to the Vineyard.

The wings and steak were EXTREMELY over cooked and the service was "meh" at best.... After hearing a glowing review from someone - I was extremely disappointed!!!!

It was not a place a vegetarian should go to. The reason we went was it had what all of the kids would want to eat. The waitress was excellent. The chicken tenders from 3 of the kids said they were "so-so". My mashed potatoes were not good.

5/5 for what it is: a dive bar on the dock. We went to the Shuck Shack. No liquor, beer and wine only. Good draft and beer bottle/can list.Wings were VERY crispy and the sauce was good - we ordered medium but could have gotten hot. Half order was good for a quick lunch bite. Also ordered the beer battered shrimp plate, not sure they were beer battered but they were very fresh and delicious. Nice fries, okay slaw. Pre-made cocktail sauce and no tarter sauce. Not sure what was up with that.

Friendly staff and scenic location, but that doesn't matter if the food isn't good. But it was great! We ordered some seafood and the daily special (bbq chicken and ribs) and it was fantastic.

Overall 5 stars. We ate here 4 times over our vacation on a friend's recommendation. Wait staff were hit and miss, one of the hostesses was terrible, zero people skills, the others were ok. The wings are excellent. Crispy, tender, fresh but they are on the smaller side. Not all flavors are created equal. Mild is super mild. Dry j*** are just their base fried wings dusted with j*** seasoning. 95% of the seasoning falls off. Go for the wet j*** instead. The dry Maryland is just dusted with old bay seasoning. BBQ and sweet chili is sweet baby Ray's sauce. Not a bad thing They will not do more than 1 flavor per plate. If you want fries order two half orders as it is cheaper than a single and a side of fries. Add bonus, you can get 2 flavors if you do it that way. I don't know if we were lucky or was intentional but all of our orders came exactly half drums and half wings. Sodas are not free refills. The Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday specials sell out quick, so get there early. The boneless / tenders are a standard food service tender nothing to write home about. Stick with the bone in wings.

If this review was solely for the lobster roll special offered on Mondays it would have been much different. Unfortunately, the service received by one of the restaurant’s employees made us feel very unwelcome and ruined what should have been a fun first time Martha’s Vineyard and lobster roll experience. After joining multiple MVY FB groups I found out about the lobster specials at Coop de Ville as they were listed as “can’t miss events/experiences” Although I’ve been coming to MVY for about 9 years this was my sister and her friend’s first trip and neither of them had ever had a lobster roll, so of course we headed to Coop de Ville on Monday ~ 1pm for lunch. We placed a to go order for 3 lobster rolls with one of the servers then sat at a table waiting for the bill and our food. We paid the bill, including tip before our food came out. Once the food arrived my sister returned from shopping for souvenirs and said we’ll just sit so you can eat before continuing our tour of Oak Bluffs and that’s when he came over with a piece of cloth to wave us away and let us know “if you order food to go you need to go…this is my real estate” We ordered our food to go and needed to move. I understand the need to get as much business as possible during the busy summer months, but as patrons we were made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome at the restaurant. The lobster roll and fries were okay, but due to the poor customer service and poor manner in which we were treated the rest of my family refused to get lobster rolls. I would never recommend this restaurant or patronize them in the future.

Being as this was my first visit to Martha's Vinyard and my first time eating a New England lobster roll I was extremely disheartened by the interaction with the pictured Coop de Ville employee. Prior to my visit, I joined multiple MVY FB groups and found out about the lobster specials @Coop de Ville as they were listed as "can't miss events/experiences." After spending $63.75 and tipping the female server $20.00 I left feeling unwelcomed and disrespected. What should have been a fun first time Martha's Vineyard and lobster roll experience has now become a low point in an otherwise amazing Msrtha's Vineyard experience. We placed a to go order for 3 lobster roll specials with one of the servers then sat at a table waiting for the bill and our food. We paid the bill including tip ($83.75) before our food came out. Once the food arrived my two sisters and her friend returned from shopping for souvenirs. She said, "stay and finish your meal before we go to the next stop on our tour (of Oak Bluffs)." Almost immediately the gentleman in the red shirt, who I assume is employed by Coop de Ville, came over with a piece of cloth to wave us away and then said loudly for us and the other patrons to hear, "if you order food to go you need to go...this is my real estate!" Although I understand the need to get as much business as possible during the busy summer months, we were paying patrons and as such were made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed at the restaurant. The lobster roll was okay, but the fries were cold. Due to the poor customer service and poor manner in which we were treated the rest of my family refused to get lobster rolls. I would never recommend this restaurant or patronize them in the future.

Yeah, skip this place. The location is great, but it’s a tourist trap. Mondays they have a lobster roll special for $20. Well, even at that price, not worth it. The flavor is absent and the taste is bland. Tried the chowder and seafood gumbo. Both does not taste house made by far. Charging $6.50 for lower end canned stuff is not a good look. The service was solid. Bella the waitress was solid. Kind and attentive. Too many other places to try. You’ll drop more than it’s worth here.
