We had a wonderful 2 night stay for a wedding in the area. The check in process was easy, David was very friendly! Made it feel like staying with a friend. Our room was very clean and updated nicely. The bathroom is a little small but certainly ample and I liked having a window in there too. We stayed in the room right by the coffee area which was convenient as it was right by the courtyard door and lobby. However we could hear the morning chatter as people stopped by. That was my only complaint and it is minor. There are so many complimentary features that make this place so welcoming! My favorite thing was probably the front porch where I sat a lot because it rained a lot of our trip. But it was so nice to grab an apple from the coffee bar and some clam chowder from the very close chowder restaurant and sit on the porch with the cool air and rain around me. And the location absolutely cannot be beat! A bagel/coffee shop on both sides and just a hop from the main road and and hop to the ferry and waterfront. When we come back some day we will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!Walkability: So close to everything! Don’t need a car at all. Everything you need is truly just a 1-4 minute walk away, including all the best restaurants in Oak Bluffs

Yes - I have a fondness for small boutique inns. Intimate, where you get to know the staff pretty well! The staff has always been friendly and very very helpful because they are locals that work there. The place is hands down cleanest establishment I have ever stayed, and worked at. Yes... I used to work there 3 years ago. I have made long standing friends with the staff and the visitors to the island. Oh yes did I mention - ON Martha's Vineyard. 24 he coffee/tea/snacks/ice cream/microwave. In town location so sometimes it CAN be noisy! Coffee shop next door, islands favorite pizza down one end and on the other end are a few really tasty, busy restaurants and.... Donuts served at night! They have board games, towels, beach chairs and umbrellas and sand toys for the kids!! ALL AROUND GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!!

Once again the Madison Inn has exceeded our expectations these past several days. This time we easily convinced our friends to stay and boy did we have an awesome time. The rooms are clean, air conditioned and they provide all of the small amenities that others on the island don't get.. (I named them in last years review) When you stay at the Madison Inn you become family..The environment produces this kind of feeling and interactions. I'll see them next year!

This boutique hotel is the perfect location, walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and the ferry in Oak Bluffs. Mary is awesome. She's at the desk during the day. She knows everything, just ask her! Rooms are clean and equipped. Beds sleep well. There is a bit of noise from the street and maybe patrons leaving a nearby bar, but I didn't mind it. It's nice to hear people socializing again! Stay here, I promise you'll be pleased.

I really enjoyed my trip to Martha’s Vineyard and my stay at the Madison Inn. The room was clean and nice. The staff was super nice and helpful. In the main part of the Inn, just behind the hall of the front desk, there is a table that had treats always available (e.g. fruit, protein bars, tea, etc). It was nice to have that in case you wanted a snack, and it was all complimentary. The hotel is in a great location. I believe less than a 5-minute walk from the dock. It's right in the mist of everything. Please note for those not familiar with the Inn, the room is on the outside, not inside like a traditional hotel. So you might get some street noise. But as long as the windows are closed, no issues. From all the walking you will do and the fun, you will be so tired. In the lobby, there are a lot of pamphlets on things to do, as well as travel. The bus is a great way to get around. The route is easy to learn.Across the main street you have bus tours. A street or so over are great diners for breakfast.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time! That’s coming from someone who has stayed at Ritz-Carlton’s, tons of Marriotts and Hilton, and lots of small bed and breakfasts. The rooms were IMMACULATELY clean, and I mean clean, not a single bit of dirt even under the bed. They have an area where you can store your stuff before and after you check in/check out plus beach towels and sunscreen/bugspray. They also have a snack and coffee bar open 24/7. The service staff is incredibly friendly. They upgraded us to a bigger room at no charge, we didn’t ask for an upgrade. The beds are comfortable and are modern. In the room we had 4 bottles of ‘Open Water’ and 4 bags of ‘Cape Cod’ chips that were included. The bathroom came with shampoo, soap, conditioner, moisturizer, and makeup remover which is all pretty standard but the brand was “CO Bigelow & Co” which is a well know German cosmetics brand which you’ll find at the likes of Saks Fifth Avenue and other higher end retailers. The point of all this is that this Inn doesn’t cut corners and provides high end products for free. Definitely stay here if you’re coming to MV!

Friendly staff greeted us upon arrival and explained all the amenities offered by the inn. The inn provided beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. The inn was located walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfortable. Water, coffee and snacks were available 24 hours a day as was use of a refrigerator and microwave. Would highly recommend staying here.

Such a cute inn! We absolutely loved our stay here. It was our first time on Martha’s Vineyard, and we felt very welcomed during the Fourth of July weekend. Mary is the owner and was so sweet and kind!

We really enjoyed our brief stay at Madison Inn. It has perfect location, very sweet owner and everything you need at all. We even got two bags of complimentary Cape Cod chips which we later used as photo props at Nauset Beach! Thank you so much for taking great care of your guests - really appreciate it!
