My husband and I stayed at Summer Camp and overall our experience was really great. Our room was spacious and pretty comfortable. The lobby and porch area were really comfy and had a very modern look to it. The only downside was that there were no microwaves in the rooms and there wasn’t an outlet in the bathroom for a blow dryer. However, the location of the hotel was extremely close and in walking distance from shops and restaurants.

Stayed at this hotel for a wedding on the vineyard. Courteous staff, cozy vibe, great porch outside. The rooms are clean and modern, but the bathroom was a bit tight. The window air conditioning unit was pretty loud so sleep quality wasn’t that great, but this was one of the more cost effective hotels we found so we dealt with it. Good location close to ferries and cute town. I’d recommend it.

This is a great place to stay.Staff is super helpful and friendly. It’s very well maintained and clean. You are steps away from excellent restaurants, shops, and other attractions.Great views from each room as well. Parking is scarce but there is free street parking across the street from summercamp.Rooms: Rooms are quaint but very manageable. Probably felt small because we bought our 9 month old child with us. The views are pretty awesome from each room. They do a great job of cleaning daily.Nearby activities: Literally close to everything. Great restaurants. Carousel. Fireworks. Shopping. Supermarkets.Walkability: It’s the perfect location. You are literally a 2-10 minute walk from everything.

Sheets were not clean and covered in hair. When I went to go to bed I pulled the bed sheet down and discovered hair throughout the bed (a couple pictures attached). I’m no stranger to hotels and understand one or two hairs can get through the wash but this was significantly more than a few hairs. I went down to the front desk and informed them of the situation and they reluctantly agreed to change the sheets. The staff offered no apology and didn’t take the situation very seriously.Outside of the sheets, the rest of the hotel was solid, and as advertised however I was left questioning the cleanliness of everything.

Absolutely LOVE The SummerCamp! The staff is helpful and nice and goes above and beyond to assist in every way they can. The rooms are great and you can NOT beat their fabulous waterfront location in Oak Bluffs that is close enough to walk to every thing that Oak Bluffs has to offer in town! There is no better vacation day than sitting on their expansive front porch enjoying a cocktail and overlooking the harbor and enjoying the ever changing view!

I paid $727 per night for a queen room with harbor view. I regret to say, it was NOT worth the money. At that price, I feel I can be a bit picky:1. The tv was old and had minimal smart capabilities. You get basic cable or YouTube. No casting, no Netflix, no Apple TV. It was not signed into the hotel's wifi when we arrived, so we had to search for the settings to log in. The staff told us the tv had Netflix capabilities, but it did not. We like to relax with a show at bedtime so this was honestly a huge letdown2. The harbor view was two windows that looked out into the harbor. And while this was nice, one window was blocked with a (loud) air conditioner. Also, there wasn't really a way to sit and relax and enjoy the view- just one chair, so my husband and I couldn't sit together. 3. The website claims the room had both "Bluetooth radio" and "USB ports." It had neither of these. Just an old clock radio-looking thing with a clock that didn't work. 4. I called ahead of time to ask about coffee (we are big coffee drinkers) and was told they are "all over the hotel." Well really there one coffee station in the lobby and one on the fourth floor. We were on the second floor. No big deal, the coffee was good and they had real cream... but again, at $727 a night, a Keurig in my room would be appropriate. Also, if you want anything other that sugar or sweet n' low, you'll have to bring it yourself. 5. As for the bed... it really wasn't comfortable. The sheets were hot and didn't stay taught on the bed. We both woke up a lot. You might want to bring your own pillow. 6. We rented two beach chairs and an umbrella for a total of $17.00. Not a huge cost, but again... $727. The chairs were incredibly uncomfortable. Had I known, I would have brought my own. What we DID like:1. The games were fun - we enjoyed playing cornhole and ping pong. The cornhole bags were not regulation though, and smelled like bacon. 2. The front deck is nice. 3. Great location. Walking distance to Oak Bluffs center. 4. Free bike rentals from a place down the street (they have about 6, first come-first served). 5. I liked the shampoo and conditioner. Shower was small, but good pressure. TIPS:To make up for the ridiculous cost of this hotel, you'll want to save some money in other ways. 1. bring your own breakfast and lunch. Your room has a VERY small fridge (like, won't fit a quart of milk small) but no freezer. ... that's about it. Everything else is 36289286382 million dollars.

First time at Martha's Vineyard and I have to say this was a fabulous stay. The hotel is wonderful.Summercamp is so accessible, comfortable and welcoming. Close to the ferry port which makes it easy. The views are amazing. The hotel is very chic and modern. The amenities are good. I loved the throwback keys.Hotel has parking on premises as well as additional paid parking. They also offer lockers in case you get there before check in time. Our room had a view of the water and we got to watch all the boats anchored there. The room is very basic but the size was good. Comfortable for 2 people. Nice comfortable bed and pillows which is always important. Refrigerator in room allows you to keep water and soft drinks cool. The complimentary coffee station in the lobby area was great, and the coffee was delish. While they do have a small selection of food items for a quick bite there is no restaurant on site, but the area has some fantastic places to eat that I would recommend such as:Lookout TavernGiordano pizzaAndLittle HouseThe front porch at the hotel allows you to just sit there and enjoy the view or maybe a good book, they have a bookshelve with a good selection in the game room or how about a quick game of ping pong.No matter if you're there for fun or business Summercamp hotel makes it a great stay.It was a wonderful, relaxing short vacation. Martha's Vineyard is a beautiful island.

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Martha's Vineyard. Hotel presents in person just as it does online. Great location by all you want to be around in Oak Bluffs. Staff was help friendly and helpful. Room was updated and very clean. Our particular bathroom could use a bit of cosmetic clean-up on the ceiling and some brighter lighting, but those were the only real complaints.

The rooms are a bit tight but the location can't be beat. Right on the water, close to a park, and directly in front of the famous gingerbread houses. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We loved the lobby area, and enjoyed evenings, playing games and enjoying drinks on the deck overlooking the water. Relaxation was definitely attainable at this destination! Having bikes available for guests is a nice touch.

The hotel is in a great location and nicely renovated. The room was small for a $400/night, our shower gel was empty and toilet paper was very cheap. Nice coffee amenities.

I can't wait to come back and stay here!Nearby activities: Very close to downtown, stores and restaurants. This isn’t about a stay it’s just about great customer service. I love this hotel. The room size didn’t work out for us this upcoming summer but I will be back. Special thanks to Cynthia for being super helpful?
