About Wash Ashore
Wash Ashore is a clean laundromat with lots of machines, including 13 washing machines (five four-load and eight three-load) and 22 dryers. The machines take quarters, with a machine in the back accepting bills up to $20 for coins. The prices are fair for large loads, with a wash cycle of 25 minutes and drying costing 25c for 2 minutes. The machines worked, drying clothes in about 28 minutes for an XL load. There are baskets to help move clothes and tables to fold. The staff is friendly, and a gentleman helped with the detergent dispenser. However, the only payment option is cash, and there is no credit card option. There is no bathroom available off season and no chairs, though public restrooms are available in summer. The laundromat has been completely redone and is in excellent condition, with a clean floor and surfaces for folding.

It was clean, the machine I chose worked, but the only option is cash. they have a dollar bill changer into coins, but who has cash these days. It would be nice if there was an option for credit card.

Clean, lots of machines, friendly staff. There’s not anything more that I look for in a laundromat. A nice little business.

Nice and clean. However, I will not be able to use it anymore due to the lack of a bathroom. In season there are public restrooms so it’s not a problem in summer. Also no chairs. Again not a problem in summer. Unfortunately it is unusable for me when I need it most, off season.
