“Salerno’s is amazing! We first visited for a Sweet 16 celebration, and it was during our search for a wedding venue. After being there for just a short time, we became distracted from the event, as we realized it could be the perfect fit for our wedding reception. From the start, everyone at Salerno’s was kind, friendly, helpful and great to work with. Nicole is wonderful, and is full of important information, resources, recommendations, and really knows her “stuff!” She made us feel comfortable, confident and trusting in that our journey to our big day, and the day of, would be a memorable and joyful one, and it certainly was! Nicole is very meticulous and detail-oriented, and wants your day to be as unique as special as each couple she hosts events for. She makes sure you feel heard and that all of the “little things” are included, and she is very straight forward with costs, changes, concerns, etc. Having Salerno’s as our venue was one of the best parts of it all, and it was also one of the least stressful parts of planning! Prices are fair and the rooms are already gorgeous, but leave plenty of room for themes, and any special decor you wish to add. We loved our experience and highly recommend!”

“My kids practically grew up on this farm. I brought them since they could crawl and they know every inch of the place, which means great memories of farming without actually having to be a farmer myself. I grew up in farm country and it's a hard life. Now they are grown and skilled harvesters! Staff is so kind and helpful. Food is so flavorful. Great oysters, eggs, baked goods. Buffalo Jump restaurant is so innovative! I learned so much about harvesting unique vegetables like sun chokes from attending the buffet events here. Love the greenhouses and how you can harvest veggies nearly year round!”

“It's quaint and rustic. Lots of windows and hardwood floors. I had the crustless quiche (a/k/a frittata) with tomatoes and spinach. It came with a small side salad. It was delicious. Members in my party raved about the smoothie bowls and the breakfast sandwiches. Portions were generous.Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The "powder room" was very clean, but a little wonky; it served its purpose. I'll be returning.”

“We've stayed at the Dan'l Webster for many years and always enjoyed great meals, lovely ambiance, and great service. However, recently we've have been in need of their handicapped accessible room. The room itself was quite nice, as usual, but the bathroom lacked grab bars for getting in and out of a bathtub that had plenty of grab bars and safety features inside but had a very high (20") side to step over, making it very dangerous to enter or exit the tub. We brought this to the management's attention after leaving and they are now in the process of adding additional grab bars, making the room safer for anyone using it. Other than this, the hotel is very handicapped accessible and helpful in many regards, and we highly recommend it. Also, we've noticed that there's been very little staff turnover in the 15+ years we've been staying here - a very good sign of good management indeed!”
