Jumptown Skydiving is the first commercial drop zone in the country and has been the heart of American skydiving since 1959. They are knowledgeable and clear in their communication, explaining each step and ensuring comfort throughout. The team is described as an amazing bunch of great people, a tight-knit group that feels more like a family than coworkers, who are excited for the jumpers and love sharing the joy of skydiving. They are accommodating, especially with scheduling around inclement weather. The jump itself from 13,500 feet is an unbelievable and overwhelming sensation of flying, with a beautiful view that can include the Boston horizon. After the freefall, the parachute descent brings a feeling of peace and tranquility. The entire process is conducted with clear instructions, leaving jumpers feeling safe and never confused. Many highly recommend adding the video and photo package, which provides superb quality media to cherish the same day. The experience is so positive that jumpers frequently express a desire to return soon.
