A negative experience with this piano technician. I assumed a simple tuning was all that was needed, but he highlighted multiple parts of the piano he deemed needed replacement, even stated he'd call Steinway himself if it were still under warranty and blast them for inferior craftsmanship. All I could see was dollar signs if extensive repairs were necessary.Needless to say, I was devastated--until I contacted a respected authority for a second opinion. After a careful examination for almost two hours, I was assured the piano was in fine condition, well-made, and nothing was in need of replacement. Music to my ears...
