Or cat chloe stayed for a few days last week when we were in boston . Lake farm staff were exceedingly professional , very nice and willing to work with our schedule. Chloe is not the easiest cat to deal with and they did a great job . A great value ,well worth the money. I highly recommend to anyone looking for animal care

In May 2022 we booked our dogs for boarding for a week in August and in early July we moved that week to early September. The kennel was fine with accommodating that change. At that time the kennel told us that one of our two dogs that would be staying there was not fully vaccinated for boarding based in the information that the kennel had at the time. We questioned that because we know when we take our dogs to be vaccinated and said we would confirm with our Vet. Not sure why the kennel thought that one of the dogs was not boarding ready, as the kennel was wrong. I contacted our Vet who sent all the records to us to share with the kennel showing that our dogs have been updated since the early part of this year when we made the reservation. We sent the records to the kennel and they wrote back to us that "they did not hear back from us" so they took us off of the reservation for our two dogs. Are you kidding me? A couple of very poor management decisions going on here: 1. Even if one of our two dogs was not vaccinated, they chose to take both dogs off the reservation. Bad decision #1. 2. They never informed us that there was a 'required response' or deadline for such before they remove our reservation or that they were actually expecting to hear back from us (which we actually did get beck to them with the records showing the dogs were fully vaccinated). Bad decision #2. 3. Their record keeping is wrong because both dogs were fully vaccinated at the time we made the original reservation All of this done within a week of our planned vacation. Thanks a bunch for the poor experience. Communication skills : C+ Decision making skills : D+ Customer experience : F Accountability to fix their mistake : see customer experience rating Boarder beware, understand expectations with this kennel before you decide to board your family member there. I guess we made a bad decision too by planning to use this kennel.

My dog loved meeting new, kind, dog friends. The staff was warm, patient and loving. A home away from home. Donna was great giving lots of love. My dogs’ first time in a kennel but he didn’t miss me and happy to see his peers . Lots of attention and a great experience! They even have doggie ice cream. Fun time. He had a great vacation. Thank you for everything.

My 1.5 year old dog just spent a week at LFBK. He came home happy (and exhausted!). I’m sure he was well loved and cared for which was priceless for our family while we were away. We will absolutely board here again. Thank you!

Lake Farm has been Hermione’s and Poodles’ home away from home through every emergency trip we had to make and when we could get away for vacation. Poodles shoots through the door full of excitement! They both come home with a treat if a longer stay. Helen and Donna and the others feel like family friends.

I have boarded my dogs there with no problem for about 10 years. Today when I went to pick up my dogs expecting to pay for 2 nights I was charged for 3. I was told that 11am starts a new day. I was there at 1pm. I was surprised and disappointed that this business would be so petty. Even prorating the extra 2 hours I could see but no I was charged the full next day rate. When I voiced my displeasure I was told that is our policy. My husband and I own our own business so we are not unfamiliar with what it takes to run a business but we both agreed we would never treat a customer of ours like that. It did not sit well with us as we were returning from a family funeral. We will no longer be using or recommending this business to anyone. Someone so small should not be rewarded for treating return customer's so poorly.

Today was Ollie’s first trip to Lake Farm for a professional wash/blow dry. He is very pleased with how he looks and feel and SMELLS! He says “bow-wow-thanks” to Daria.

Our 9 month old puppy Harley stayed for a week at Lake Farm Kennels and she loved it! We visited each morning to take her on a short walk. Donna and her staff were awesome and Harley was always excited to go back after our walk. The staff are all very professional and caring. We look forward to visiting again next summer!

We loved this place. The COVID situation forced us to find a new solution for boarding our dog while we were in Cape Cod this year. The staff is kind and accommodating. As long as he was there, we had the dog groomed. What a great job! He looks like a new dog. Thanks for making a tough situation a little easier.

I just wanted to share how great this group is...: brought my husbands grandmother(Mary) ‘s dog “Diva” in after a long overdue hair cut. They saw how badly she needed a haircut and made sure they could fit her in. Mary called us last weekend and told us Diva is like a new dog! Happy, running around and energetic since we brought her to lake farm. Thank you for taking on Diva and we will be back to bring our dogs!!
