We recently stayed at the Orleans Waterfront Inn for a wedding. The hotel is centrally located and a good launching spot to explore the outer cape. The view of the cove from our bedroom was lovely and the wedding reception/ festivities were also great. Everyone working at the inn was very friendly and more than accommodating. The rooms were also clean and comfortable.

While visiting family on the Cape we stayed here for an evening. Ed the owner was so kind and generous with his hospitality. He offered us a free upgrade, to the presidential suite, the biggest and best room. Room 10 had big windows with a beautiful view of the ocean. It had a frig, small living room 2 T.V's,and nice sized bath with a refreshing shower. The king bed was comfy and provided a good nights sleep. Ed made us a tasty breakfast of eggs and bacon before our travels. There was a 24 hr coffee, tea, soda and snack station available to all guests as well. Thank you so much ed for your generosity and kindness we hope to come back! Try to check out the cupola if you can dare the steep steps.

Just went to the restaurant. It has an amazing view and is so tranquil and lovely for a family. The outdoor seating is comfy. The food is pretty good. It's a little bland in some respects but overall it's good. The berry salad is amazing, and the salmon and baked scallops were also really good. The place is run by 16 year olds, like everywhere else on the cape, so the service is alright.Noteworthy details: Kids menu, great view

Very nice view and really good food...nice menu to choose from...recomend salmon or fish n chips....had a nice pour of sauvignon blanc and hubby had a titos cocktail..we arrived st 430...by 5 it was packed....this was a tuesday.

What a delightful stay. Spent 5 nights and would have liked to stay longer. The proprietor is so welcoming and caring and most helpful with any questions. It is family-run and they all care about their guests. The daughter is the chef of their restaurant on the premises. The food and wait staff gets 5++ stars. Also, cleanliness is top priority as well. Can't wait to return.

Pray, indulge me as I recount my recent sojourn at the Orleans Waterfront Inn & Restaurant, a charming establishment that had graced my ocular orbs years prior, during a most peculiar televisual spectacle concerning specters. How delightful it was to finally set foot in this resplendent abode upon the Cape Cod, a locale celebrated for its pristine beauty and fabled hauntings. My presence was but one fragment of a grand tour I embarked upon, visiting New England's most illustrious haunted hotels.The anticipation that stirred within my breast as I traversed the winding path to this venerable edifice was undeniable. The gusts of wind, reminiscent of ghostly whispers, did naught but intensify my excitement. I pressed forth, my gait resolute, driven by an insatiable curiosity to partake in the ethereal marvels awaiting me within those venerable walls.Upon crossing the threshold of the Orleans Waterfront Inn, a personage of utmost refinement, clad in attire of impeccable tailoring, extended a courteous greeting. His manner, as genteel as a gentle breeze upon a summer's eve, bespoke a man well-acquainted with the ethereal inhabitants that dwelled within these sacred precincts. With grace and decorum befitting my station, I was escorted to my opulent chambers, replete with an ambiance that spoke volumes of timeless elegance.As dusk descended, I took my repast in the esteemed dining quarters of the inn. The culinary masterpieces presented before me were nothing short of exceptional, a testament to the culinary genius of the resident chef. After a few previous visits to Cape Cod, we stayed for the first time at this Inn in Orleans for 4 nights. It is just off the main road that heads to Chatham in one direction and Wellfleet and Provincetown in the other. It is perfectly centrally located for day trips to those towns and much shorter drives north to a couple of the best beaches in the country. Also fairly close (walking distance) to shopping and restaurants. It is operated by a very hands on owner, Ed who cooked and served us a very hearty breakfast for each of the 4 days we were there on the very zen-like back patio overlooking the pond. A very quiet and relaxing way to start each morning. The room was more than adequate for my wife and I and Ed saw to it that we had everything we needed along with sightseeing tips. Thanks for that and the great conversations, Ed. Although we had been to this area numerous times over the years, he was the first to suggest visiting Fort Hill less than a mile away for great views of the dunes and ocean just before sunset. Hope to return and stay here again.

fantastic stay! Hotel is beautiful and clean. Ed, the owner, couldn't have been nicer. Cooked us breakfast and was attentive the entire stay. A total hidden gem! Five stars! We will definitely be back.

Lovely spot on the water, which is hard to find on Cape Cod however they made the awning a dark color so it retains heat and becomes unbearably hot during the day. Food is average but still a great spot for a twilight dinner

My wife and I did not stay there but we did have an awesome lunch! The food was cooked to perfection. The service was just as good! No combines whatsoever!

We had an awesome overnight stay and dinner. Ed was an excellent host, his daughter Megan took great care of us in the restaurant and his other daughter cooked us some outstanding food! There’s something special about a family run operation and we will definitely be back!

Food was fair. The French onion soup was mediocre. My mother's dinner was so spicy ( with out specifying on the menu that it was spicy) it was not ediable. They offered to reheat it with more coconut milk! They gave her no other option. Not happy!!!
